Rebelscum has a pic of Gentle Giant's proposed Indy Bust-ups. I like the Mola Ram. I hope they get approval for these. You can see the article and pic here.

Those look good. Normally I'd jump at them, but I'm trying to cut back for financial reasons.

That's probably what I should be doing but I figure "Who needs a retirement plan?". Sitting around and drooling on yourself all day is free. And besides, Depends aren't that expensive .

Awesome. I'll probably find the actual Holy Grail before 'TLC' figures. Pegs are totally full of 'ROTLA' & KPTCS' at the moment.
I picked up the Spider-Man Mighty mugg.

Those mighty muggs look pretty sharp. I've been trying to ignore them, but the Marvel ones really caught my eye.

I don't get mighty muggs. Like, literally/figurativley. They're cute and all, but that's like, what, ten bucks that can go for another action figure or a stack of comics or something. More power to them and their collectors though

I thought they were kind of unique looking, but I was going to stay away until I saw the Empire strikes back Luke with "battle damage". I had to buy him and the farmboy Luke. Then I thought "Boba Fett looks cool." so I got him. Then I saw Sipdey and... yeah.
That's it though, until a Jedi Luke comes out.
---
Okay this is goofy but I thought I'd include it... When I bought my Spider-Man Mighty Mugg I also bought a case of 'Little hugs' [It's a Kool-aid-like juice that comes in little plastic containers]. So I bought Muggs and Hugs. It's late, what do you expect?

I picked up Roadblock V.2 tonight. I didn't even know they were making V.2.
The 25th Anniversary Joes fly off the pegs here as fast as they go up. Roadblock was all that was left [along with some peg warming Cobra Commanders] and he wasn't there yesterday so in less than 24 hours POOF!; New shipment all gone. I'm really loving this line.

I found some news on the 'G.I. Joe' DVD battle sets. Seems that there will be 5 in total...
Set 1: 65296 "The M.A.S.S. Device" Console & Element Containers
Set 2: 65297 "The Revenge Of Cobra" Generator
Set 3: 65907 "Arise Serpentor Arise!" Control Turret
Set 4: 65908 "Pyramid Of Darkness" Transport Chassis
Set 5: 65909 "G.I.Joe - Best Of Episodes" Beam Emitter
In case you don't know what they are, they're figures sets that include a DVD of a classic 'G.I. Joe' mini-series [all long out of print]. The figures are themed to match the DVDs. Most of the figures are repainted [ala the 'Star Wars' comic pack figures] and retooled molds of the '25th anniversary line' but as an added bonus, each set includes pieces of the M.A.S.S. device or Weather Dominator; all for SRP of $19.99!

I picked up my first Dark Knight action figures the other day. Target has two-packs of 4" figures that look just like the larger figures. I really love them. the articulation is limited, but they look great and are very sturdy. They kind of remind me of vintage Star Wars figures, except they also have knees. The best part is the price...the two-pack cost me $6.29.
The batmobile/tumbler is great as well. It's simple, sturdy, and the only moving parts are the wheels and the top hatch. The only drawback is that it only holds one figure. Other than that, it's a lot of fun and only cost me $8. I hope this is a preview of what we're getting in the future with the DC infinite heroes line.
Speaking of DC...anybody seen DC universe series 2 anywhere? TRU still has remnants of series 1, and Target has completely removed them. I've read all kinds of rumors about recalls and company product removals. Pretty shaky start for such an awesome line.

I saw lots of new Joes at Wal-Mart tonight: Wild Bill, Bazooka, a ninja...I forget what else.
At an auction...the real live kind, not online...I picked up a reissue G1 Optimus Prime still in the box for $25! Haven't decided if I'm opening or not yet. I also won a whole box of stuff for $10 that had Sinestro and Kyle Rainer Green Lantern busts with rings, a Joker bust, Bullseye bust, and Unleashed Dooku and Maul. I wish I had taken more money...they were selling piles of unopened Marvel legends, Simpsons, McFarlane, and other stuff for $10 a stack. There must have been 200 POTF2 and POTJ figures spread out on tables, and many vehicles. Apparently it was all stuff they got from somebody's storage building.

Wild Bill was an unusual choice for a single carded figure I thought. As far as I know he only came with the Dragonfly. Maybe they're going to re-release it at some point [They released a carded HISS Tank driver and the HISS tank is coming out at some point]. He's a cool character though. It's always fun to make up Wild Bill quotes.

Cool. So some guy left this in a storage unit and didn't pay? Note to self: Keep collection out of storage units. A live auction sounds like fun.
[BTW, when did we get these stars by our names? Did I get promoted to General or something? ]
