This is great THOSE who are reading please post your thoughts on your collecting ideas!
It is no fun to keep all my collecting habits to myself so share away in how you like to do things, especially since their are so many collectors out there, i'd like to hear how they do things.
(Until Luke and Chewie show up, R2 is with Yoda on Kashyyyk, because I like the idea that Concept R2 is just a really old prototype that Yoda has had for years.
Great idea, i may do the same, if and when i get more concept figs, i guess all of you are ordering them. I drive around for my job, so stopping and looking keeps me awake during the day and its cheaper.
Any thoughts on what i like to do is take newer figs out of the package and replace them with vintage figs to keep them safe and clean? Does anyone else do this? I came up with the idea so that i could display some figs (newer)and keep my packages for vintage (older). If i don't have two of each, then i can just display some vintage figs for a limited time.
thoughts..

Well, the great collecting week continues! I found the Obi-Wan and Alpha comic two pack at Wal Mart today, and this COMPLETES my comic collection, so far anyway. I picked up the Luke and Artoo comic pack yesterday at Wal Mart, one of each left. This is starting out to be an awesome week. Come on Concept Chewie, gotta find him.

My Chewie came yesterday. It's a pretty sweet figure, and I have no major complaints. The pistol fits in the holster and his hand equally well. The only problem I have is he's kinda cockeyed. I can fix that though. I've also made the decision to save the packaging from the McFigs. I still have the coins, but they're kinda useless to me as I didn't buy the Vader coin collector.
And Bossk, your plan sounds good. If it makes you happy and you don't see any problems with it, I say do it. Right now all of my OT figures are in a box in the attic, and most of my PT figures are in a box in my room. I realized the other night I have almost the entire TPM council to display, out of "backup" figures. [second versions, unposeable statues from the SAGA collection-the WORST line of figures Hasbro ever put out. It started the whole trend of action features and unmoveable statue figures (Luminara, Shaak Ti)that we are finally seeing the end of.] But I have no plans to display the council, because I've focused exclusively on the Clone Wars right now, and each section of my shelf is a different planet with Jedi Master(s) and Clones.

Second that , OBi-wan21!! I went to Target the other day, stopped an aisle next to star wars and waited for two kids and there dad to finish lookin, and heard the kid say, "yeah get the mcquarrie chewy dad".
Blood rushed to my head thinkin man this rotten kid, but snuck over to the aisle to find they were just lookin on the back of the figure.

Good decision. Did you keep figs inside or display them and keep the packaging? You can sell those coins on ebay and make a buck or two.

Oh I take them out of the packaging. Its a toy, not a statue, and I definitely don't view it as an investment. I like to be able to interact with my figures, set up little displays. Right now Palpatine is conversing with every protocol droid I have, Yoda is talking to all the Kashyyyk troopers, Obi-Wan and Anakin are talking to the guys from the 501st and the 212th, etc. The packaging for the McFigs are in the top shelf in my closet, for now anyway. I'm sure in 6 months I'm going to decide there's no reason to hang on to them and pitch them, but for now I'll keep them.
And thanks for the ebay idea, I just might do that.

Earlier today I bought these figures from the local Ben Franklin store downtown
Revenge of the Sith
Palpatine with the extra sith head to pop on. He had the red lightsaber
Anakin Mustafar figure with the slip on cloak that didnt have the cloak sleeves
Battle Damage Anakin/Darth Vader: Kentucky Fried Sith figure
R2D2 Electronic figure
all were 9.99 each which was pricey but worth it I guess
then at Pamida I bought Ayla for 4 bucks and the Hoth Power droids for just 2.75 and new Vintage Greed for 4 bucks

Ok here's a weird one for you. I just got back from a few days at my girlfriend's house to find Yoda face down with Commander Gree standing over him with his blaster pointed at him. Since my door was locked, it is highly unlikely someone came into my room to set that up, so maybe something fell off my shelf (some of my other figures were knocked over too) but I thought that it was creepy enough to tell you guys about.

That kind of thing happens every now and again with mine too... but nothing as movie specific as that. Haha! The garden variety happenstance is when a figure's peg-hole in the foot just gets tired and the figure goes face down.
In other news...
The 'legends' line has been showing up in local Wal-Marts this week. The 1st wave is a major set of repacks, but I grabbed the Darth Maul (with soft goods cloak) and the AotC Clone Trooper (didn't start collecting troopers until RotS). I'll be looking forward to this one a few waves down, when it gets to the Fan Choice selections.
The 4th wave of TAC is only about 6 weeks away. I'm only excited about the McVader, the Luke and the animated Fett. Any of the others work for anyone else???

Earlier this morning which was Friday morning I bought another Revenge of the Sith action figure which is the Anakin Skywalker figure #28 that has the slashing attack feature. The figure's not that bad looking but the left arm having that droopy sleeve thing going on bothers me a little bit since his right arm doesnt have the dropping sleeve since he has that cybernetic arm.
Anyone know how to make the figure look a little better or should I hunt down the Evolutions set since I hear it has a better looking Darth Vader in full armor and the figure is supposed to be really articulated

6 weeks Is that passed the tenth of July?
That New Droid (CZ-4 I think) Luke, McVader, Holliday Fett are fine with me!
I have a feeling that the Legends clones are going to be mind-numbingly easy to find because my local Wally world has at least 10 RotS and AotC clones.

Google search might be your best bet. I tried Rebelscum's photo archive and they don't have any pics yet.
