So, by some weird coincidence I found all of TAC Wave 5 last night. Seems like all I have to do is post a message that I can't find something and then it shows up.

It’s not just SW... For some reason the G.I. Joe 25th anniversary figures (Also by Hasbro) have seen spotty distribution and no restocking this Summer.

So far I haven’t seen anything above Wave 2 (You read that right!) and NO Mcfigures at all.

I'm getting McFrustrated tongue .

Went to Forbidden Planet in Croydon yesterday and saw the Wave 4 figures. They had one Vader at £7.99 but I think they did a pretty poor job with this sculpt so passed. They also had two Animated Boba's which was mighty tempting and again priced at £7.99, a bargin considering it was FP, but I passed (I have a feeling I may regret this tongue ). Here's hoping the shops do get Wave 4 figures in, I'm on red alert this week and next wink

No sign of Wave 4 locally yet. Woolies and Sainsburys still had Wave 3 (including McChewie at Sainsburys this morning).

Same here in Oxford. McChewies at Sainsburg's and Vader/Biggs at Woolies. (yes, I just happen to be passing every day at the moment. I don't know what the staff must think of me...)
Is it wrong for a grown man to get this impatient for a toy-line? laugh

I'm checking daily at lunchtime (I fear I will get arrested for loitering before long). The worrying thing is that my local Sainsburys seem to be clearing their toy range, no doubt to make room for poxy Christmas decorations. With any luck they are merely moving it (or making room for all those lovely Wave 4 figures wink ) but I start a new job next month which is located more or less next to a Toys R Us, so that could prove very handy grin

Indeed. I never scored as many figures or creatures/ships as I did when I worked at Wal-Mart. I always assumed Wal-Mart didn't get certain things, but then when I worked there, I realized that the toy department guys get their hands on a bunch of it right as it comes in. I'm not proud of it, but I made friends with them and acquired several things I'd never seen elsewhere before or after (like the POTF2 Bantha or Rancor, or Cantina Band Members). The bad part is I brought a lot of figures home but very little money as a result...

Currently, my local Wal-Mart's action figure aisle is looking very, very bare. The Star Wars section almost doesn't exist. I want to believe that it's because they are getting ready to stock boatloads of good SW stuff in the future, but let's just say that wouldn't be sticking to past precedent...

C-3PO: Master Luke, sir. Pardon me for asking, but what should R2 and I do if we're discovered here?
    Luke: Lock the door.
Han Solo: And hope they don't have blasters.
    C-3PO: That isn't very reassuring.
Darth Vader: Today will be a day long remembered.

Lord-Tice - I don't think my Sainsburys has ever cleared the toy shelves for Xmas decorations. If anything they add to the toys. Unfortunately that doesn't mean they add SW items!

My Sainsbury's have condensed their toy range to make room for stupid Halloween stuff. Yet another reason to hate Halloween as far as I'm concerned! Still, my Grievous Concept figures arrived today, and very nice they are too grin
I'm heading into London next Tuesday so I might poop into FP and nab me a Boba if I don't see them elsewhere....I'm getting desperate tongue

I'm about due for an FP run as well. Not sure when I will go though.

Had a scout around Canterbury over the weekend, and there seemed to be a huge flood of Wave 3 figures yet again. I think it's an absolute joke there's been such a huge gap between the Wave 3 and 4 release and it can only do harm towards the sales figures, especially if shops decide not to put out or stock Wave 4 due to having a shed load of Wave 3's still out on the shop floor and not shifting because they've been out for what seems like the dawn of time (and possibly space)!

Will be in Richmond tomorrow having another scout during lunch; they have a good comic book shop there which may be kind. Failing that, I'll get my Jamie Oliver Wok I've been eyeing up to satisfy my consumer needs, and maybe Resident Evil 4 on the Wii, lol! You had your chance Hasbro....you had your chance.

There have been a few reports on Rebelscum about wave 4 being found at regular retail here in the UK. However, I was in town today and both Woolies and Entertainer still had wave 3. (Anyone still looking for McChewie? I know where there's at least two..). More worringly, Woolies had moved their SW items from an eye-level shelf to a bottom shelf and had filled the eye-level space with Transformer stuff. So I don't know if we will see wave 4 there or not!

Woolies in Didcot has had the SW stuff at foot-level for a couple of months now sad It doesn't bother me too much as they are replenishing the stock, albeit with Wave 3.

Sainsbury's had 5 McChewies the other day. 5, I ask you tongue They've trickled down since though, and today they've put another load of Wave 3s out.
Thinking about it afterwards, the fact that McChewie is a common figure doesn't actually bother me. McChewie's probably my fave McFigure so far, and seeing cool figures on the shelves makes me happy (I want all the kids to have the cool ones... me first though tongue ), I just wish I hadn't been seeing him for so long...
