Anyone got a Gordman's in their area? A friend of mine found Galactic Hunt Mace, R2 and Galactic Marine there this morning.

    Sainsburys still had Vader, Biggs, and McChewie this morning. No sign of wave 4. Maybe next week.

    They also have had their Christmas stuff out for a couple of weeks now, and there was Halloween stuff out today (a bit of candy and a few nondescript costumes).

    Our pitiful Wal-Mart for the most part still has most of the old crap up (Obis, Super Battle Droids, etc) from the early coin waves, and still only has two columns of pegs devoted to the figs, but I did wander in the other day to find a tattooed Anakin, Elis Helrot(sp), the Ithorian Jedi, and some of the SP Stormtroopers up, which I'm guessing were either the leftovers from an earlier restock, or they're just putting out a few figures at a time when they get new ones. At least I know the EU wave is hitting us, but folks out here are so starved for new figures that if you don't get them right away, forget about it. I wish they would box up all the figures from the older waves and send them in for newer stock. I know from working at Wal-Mart you can do that if merchandise isn't moving, I just don't think the toy department folks here give a rip.

    C-3PO: Master Luke, sir. Pardon me for asking, but what should R2 and I do if we're discovered here?
    Luke: Lock the door.
    Han Solo: And hope they don't have blasters.
    C-3PO: That isn't very reassuring.
    Darth Vader: Today will be a day long remembered.

    The comic shop in Richmond had several McVaders at £6.99 which ain't bad at all, but sadly no Boba's. FP in London had large chunks of stock missing and there were no Vader's or Fett's, so I assume they've been selling well.

    *sigh* The only McFigure I ever really wanted was McChewie, and somehow I've gotten McStormie and McFett instead. Those two look so close to the final versions of themselves, I just didn't find them very exciting, they were just all that was left when I went to the store. I guess McFett looks a little different if you put his "strange" looking head on, but still not terribly special...bring on the McChewies!!!

    +++ NEWS FLASH +++

    Woolies in Didcot has new figures! grin

    They've got the "TRU Exclusive" Clones and Commanders set, with the Kashyyyk trooper being the only one I haven't seen before. Also appearing (now back at eye-level), is wave 4... finally grin

    I got;
    #22 - M'iiyoom Onith
    #23 - Elis Helrot
    #26 - CZ-4
    #28 - McVader

    If only because they were the only ones left.

    Still got wave 3 in Sainburg's, so I expect wave 4 will appear when the existing stocks go.
    I'm grinning like an idiot. laugh

    Congrats Blackout. I will go hunting tomorrow and hope to have simular success wink

    Interesting POV Monkee. I'm quite the opposite; I'd rather they get the figures as close to McQuarrie's designs as possible and that's why I'm not keen on the McChewie because the eyes are just wrong and it really annoys me, lol.

    Well, that's got me stumped. confused

    Went over to Reading today with a view to finding the Wave 4 Boba only to find:
    > The Entertainer - Wave 3 only
    > Woolworth's - Wave 3 only
    > Toys R Us - ...Wave 3 only

    More McChewies than you can shake a stick at! Woolies down the road from me hasn't replenished their stock of W4 yet either. I'm getting the impression that they either only had the one case, ir they weren't meant to put them out yet...

    Ah well. Managed to purchase other figures anyway so it wasn't a complete wash-out happy

    Wahooooooooo!! I finally Found McVader and Animated Boba Fett at my local Sainsburys. They only had one Fett but two Vader's, plus a few more from Wave 4 but these were the only ones I'm interested in grin
    Hopefully most stores will start to get them in now.

    Woolies had a McVader and AnimBoba today... mixed in with another batch of Wave 3's... bizarre.
    Sainsbury's - wave 3 only.

    Got the Boba anyway. All I've got to do now is keep an eye out for another one for my nephew, then I'll be done with this wave and I can start whining about the next one not being here laugh

    I wish that was a joke...

    FINALLY! After months of little to nothing, the Star Wars figures hit like a hammer in Colorado last night! I got the rest of the galactic hunt figures, Saga Legends Wave 3 including two or three variants of sandtroopers, clone trooper officers, pit droids and battle droids, darktroopers galore and WAVE 6!!!

    Woo hoo!!! I spent a LOT of money!
