Great Thread! And some great pictures too!

My vintage collection is basically my toys from the 80's. Unfortunately, they are packed away and in my parents basement, as i have no where to truly display them.
My collection best represents the ROTJ line as my 3 brothers and I were the perfect age to capitalize on ROTJ figures-- ewoks, jabbas palace etc... We did have a good few ESB figures, mainly Hoth Luke and Han and a few of the bounty hunters. Im not sure i had any "star wars" figures as a kid, if so, they were purchased on ROTJ cards i assume (like my Ben Kenobi)

I have a good ammount of vehichles and beasts, all in varied levels of compelteness and condition. I never had an X-wing as a kid, so the B-Wing was the pride of the rebel fleet.

Surprisingly I didnt have any of the POTF figures, save an ewok or two...
So my priority now collecting wise, is to get a few of these figures. Specifically, General Lando and Luke in Poncho. Ive also always wanted the Star Wars white dress leia.

ideally, id like to own one of each figure from the vintage line and little by little i am making that happen...

edit- I also love the vintage Red Royal Guard. I think it still measures up by todays standards. i love the pic way above of the Emperor and a troop of Red Royal guards...

I still have my AT-ST,from ESB and the AT-AT(missing a few parts) And the millenium falcon and the rebel figure holder(missing parts) My nephew plays with 'em and I don't mind, just takes me back when I watch him play with them.I do have the original Bossk though. (not missing any parts) grin

Great thread but it makes me sad as well, cos my mother gave away all my vintage stuff (figures, vehicles, books etc)to charity when I went to college! cry All I have is my promotional vintage Fett that I had taken with me!

I would love to get some stuff again particularly a 12 back Leia (which had been my first figure) so maybe one day!

Here are some pics of some pieces from my collection that I have on display in my office at work.

http://www.aumannauctions.com/alb/mysw.html

This is really only a tiny piece of what I have. Unfortunately, the rest of my collection is boxed up.

I have about a 10x15 room that is stacked to the ceiling with plastic totes full of stuff. cool

I have 52 vintage figures, most of them came from my brother because he played with them when he was young. Only problem is that most of them are missing their original accessories since they were given to me at such a young age. I still love them though. They're my favorites in my collection.

Those pics were great. Right now my vintage figures consist of a few that i have loose laying around. due to moves and me being a kid back then I have very few left. But i let my kids play with them now.

I just counted 48 vintage figures. I would say i had maybe
14 originally, then bought the rest. Mostly figures i wanted
that i liked and some i had before so i set out to get them.

I still would like vintage Ree Yees, Dengar, At-At driver and maybe a few others.

Those aren't too expensive on eBay and such. Shouldn't be too hard to get them.

Tarkin? He was never made in the vintage line. And which one would the Rebel Vanguard be?

Yeah i am finding out what we had in the vintage line and i guess
Tarkin is not available while the death star gunner was made
a few years later '85.
The rebel Vanguard i want is the guys with the oval white helmets
seen in a new hope at the beginning on the Tantive iv.

let me know .
