Cool pics, JumpinJax! Wow...poor Apu, having to wait on all those munchins dressed like Stormtroopers! I do love the ROTJ 2nd Death Star scene you have there...now I know where all the vintage Stormtroopers have gone! I do have 1 still, but he's one of the ones who looks like he needs to wash his armor with yellowish tint...

C-3PO: Master Luke, sir. Pardon me for asking, but what should R2 and I do if we're discovered here? Luke: Lock the door. Han Solo: And hope they don't have blasters. C-3PO: That isn't very reassuring. Darth Vader: Today will be a day long remembered.

Yeah, cool pics.
If you put them in a sealed bag, they can mold or deteriorate easier because it is airtight. As temperatures change moisture can develop inside the bag, and the gases released by the plastic also build up. The simple solution is to punch a small hole or two in the baggie to allow airflow. Otherwise, plastic boxes work better because they don't seal up tight.
Well i guess it doesn't bother to keep them in baggies all the time, might as well display them with all the rest of my figs.
I will still keep in baggies, but not seal as tight.
thanks for your help
anybody else have an opinion on your collection?
Haven't bought anything new lately that is vintage. Looking at getting a ship/set in
a vintage box.

I still have my old vintage collection since I was a kid. I had more figures when I was younger but i did some horrible things to the figures since I was a little kid. I pulled off the arms off of my stormtroopers and didnt take good care of the skiff weapons which got lost when moving to a different town. Plus I had two Landos which were the Bespin Lando and Skiff guard disguise Lando which both disappeared mysteriously when I moved all the time.
All I have left are these
left leg of the removeable limbs C3PO
the silver death star droid/Jawa sandcrawler droid- his left leg broke off
4-Lom the little peg for his head broke off at the main body but I still have the figure
Leia Boussh- just the figure
Endor Han- trenchcoat was reduced to ashes and crap. His right hand finers broke off decades ago
Bib Fortuna- his trenchoat is barely there due to being out in the cold and hot weather so the trenchcoat is brittle and just barely there
Gamerrean guard with his axe
Wicket and Chief Chirpa
Emperor Palpatine
Hoth Leia
Imperial Commander officer
Sy Snootles
Droopy McCool
Max Rebo's piano thingy
ATST driver
A Wing pilot
Admiral Ackbar
Rancor Keeper
Weequay
Klaatu
Nikto
Power droid
Hammerhead
headless body of a Sand person
Endor Rebel trooper
Pruneface
cloth cape left from jedi knight luke skywalker figure
Endor Leia= still have her poncho but i dont have the belt or helmet anymore

Anyway to retrieve what we wrote above?
I think I talked about trying to get vintage ships w/ the box. Anyone
else trying to do this. Expensive, but I have most of the vintage figures
that I want.

I just bought a vintage cantina backing with all the figures including a blue Snaggletooth. Pretty happy with it, it's in good condition and I've been looking for Blue Snag for awhile.

Definetly need figures/sets/ships from Bespin.
Also would like to set up a almost real Hoth scene
sometime in the near future.
Have most of what I need for Tatooine.

Here are a few of my vintage 3-3/4" figures:
I need 14 more to finish the set. Here is also a shot of my 12" figures:
The only one I'm missing from this line is IG-88.

Nice collection!!
I really don't care to complete my collection because
their are just some figures (all the ewoks, etc.) i don't
care to have. Yet anyway. But I do have almost all the Vintage
figures. Still a work in progress, thinking of stop buying the new
figures to buy the old ones, but can't pass them up!!

Speaking of can't pass it up! Well I won a lot on ebay and
completed most of the ships I wanted in one lot!
Included: Melenium falcon w/box, at-at (missing canopy, guns) tie-
interceptor, landspeeder, y-wing, at-st, snow speeder, b-wing,
and the imperial shuttle. More than i wanted to start, but filled in
a couple holes with the x-wing and darth vader's tie fighter later on.
AS for the figures: Now have cloud city guard (white), prune face,
leia as bounty hunter, and ewoks on the way. Still need 8d8 droid, ewok
or two, han and luke endor, and few others i'll name later.
