It is very sad Les and a reality check for me Les. Life is way too short. Jeannette and I have been making daily trips to the doctors to get her bandage changed. We have also started the early stages of looking for a house.
It all goes well we will buy one in 2009 and move in at some point in 2010.

I'm sorry to hear about Nick. Although I didn't know him, the way you describe him makes me sad that he died at such an early age. It's especially sad that it was a surgery/recovery from surgery that I didn't know is known for its complications. 
My condolences to all of his friends and families.
You're right about the reality check, Mike, and even this reached me. 
Good luck for finding a good house soon!

Good morning everyone, Sabine one of the local FanForce members is having a gathering next Saturday that I will be attending in honour of Nick. I forgot to mention that Nick has a twin brother Graeme. He has requested that all of his friends be with him next Saturday. I cannot imagine what pain he is going through.

A few days ago I learned that my favorite horse, which I haven't seen for eight years, had died about four years ago. This made me really sad for some time. This was just a horse that I have not seen for years and it made me almost crying, which sounds stupid, but that's the reason I don't even want to try to imagine how deep the aches must be for those people who were very close to Nick, not speaking of his brother, mother and father. It must be very deep...
Could you tell him our condolences?

Good morning everyone, We are in the gripe of another heat wave out here. 90 plus degree weather for the rest of the week and along with the heat comes severe thunderstorms which are expected to hit the area later on today.

Don't you want to give us a bit of the warm weather, Mike? Here it's about 20°C and raining. This summer is really weird. Either it's like today or it's hot (~30°C) and swelty with upcoming thunderstorms. I wonder where the normal summer weather hides.

Ouch..it's partly cloudy and mild here but showers are forecast. Hopefully not as bad as yesterday - we had thunder, lightning, and monsoons for a couple of hours around the time I left work. I got absolutely soaked doing the grocery shopping as it was monsooning when I ran from the car to the store and as I put the bags in the car afterwards.

But then again, I don't use my car daily and I know what it means to get used to AC in a car and then it breaks. Not so nice... although you know how cold/warm it is outside without looking at the temperature scale most cars have these days.
Mike, I also agree with you about warm weather. I love warm/hot weather, especially in summer. 
But right now it seems we have to stay with ~18-21°C and cloudy-rainy weather for another week at least. Hopefully Petrus realise it's July after this week finally and decides for some warmer, more summer-like weather.
