Sabine, it is mainly throat. Normally when I have a sore throat it is after having the cold or flu but I have had neither just got a sore throat, can't swallow much even liquids are hard at the moment. I also have a killer headache that just won't go away 
I had to leave work at 1pm but I did work from 8:45am until then with no break and finished all my work for the week so guess it isn't too bad.

Morning all - partly cloudy and warm here. I'd better make the best of it as we are supposed to get rain tomorrow.
The stench finally went away yesterday. I don't know what it was but I hope it doesn't come back.
Jeannette - if you have a fever as well you probably had better see a doctor. It might be strep throat.

Good morning everyone  I am looking forward to a quiet weekend without any work related phone calls. Jeannette and I are going to be visiting a town about 20 minutes away from here that might end up becoming our new home in a few years. Other than that not much is going on.

It's been pretty quiet here as well, Mike. I was able to sit out in the sunshine for a bit but it's clouded over now. Still dry though.
Dr Who sounds pretty good tonight. Martha Jones is back for two episodes and she meets the Doctor's current companion.

Thanks for reminding me about Dr Who, although not too sure Mike is thankful lol
I think if I am like I am now in the morning I'll be going to the Doctor's as I have been sick since Thursday and really don't want to take another day off of work

You lucky people are way ahead of us. We just got the Titanic episode last week. Last night was the adipose one...I forget the actual names of the episodes. I enjoyed it, but the little "fat creatures" were a bit cheesy.
Had a garage sale today. I sold some of my spare incomplete vehicles to some kids who seemed to like them. Between that and outgrown baby stuff, we made over $100.

Jean, are you feeling better already or are you still sick? *hopes not*
And, Mike, were you and Jean able to enjoy a nice, relaxing weekend? It would be great!
And if you wonder where I was the last days... I had my fourth part of my further training during the weekend and learned a lot about gaining/losing food, what kind of food needs a normal person, a normal sportive person and a top athlete, food lies and lots of other stuff. But I still wish that we had more days about this topic, because it's so interesting and I would love to learn more about it.

Hi Sabine Jeannette was feeling a little better last night before she went to bed. As for me there were several issues that I had to deal with this weekend. I am feeling tired this morning as I only had 3 hours sleep. I got a wake up call at 2am.
