hey all. It's been rainy, windy, and chilly here all day. Right now it's stopped but more is forecast for overnight. I've spent most of the afternoon curled up on the bed with the cat reading a book.

Howdy everyone, I am enjoying my day off doing laundy and cleaning  It is in the mid 80s out here but temps are going to drop back into the 60s by tomorrow.

It was forecast to be in the low 60s F here today but it doesn't feel like it with the wind. I had the windows open a bit earlier but I got cold and closed them.

Good morning everyone, the temperature has really dropped out here from yesterday. It was very close to 90F yesterday afternoon but it has now dropped to 55C. I cannot remember if Jeannette mentioned it but we went to see Indy. I really enjoyed the movie. I am really looking forward to the Clone Wars in August. It is hard to believe that June is days away. 2008 has been flying by.

Hey Mike (and any lurkers). I've started reading the Indy novels as I picked up the omnibus of the first 3 on Saturday. I didn't realize that Temple actually takes place before Raiders. Raiders was pretty good and I just started Temple last night.

Yeah, according to the dates at the beginning of the books. Temple is about a year before Raiders timewise.
Morning all - it's rainy here and muggy with t-storms forecast. It feels like it might storm!

lightsabre for the Wii.
Jean, is there really a 'controller' which looks like a lightsabre? I always thought the 'lightsaber' would be the normal Wii controller. 
Oh, and since there are no SW games for the Wii in Germany at the moment, I'd like to know what kind of SW games are there in the Canada (US?). The only game that shall come out for Wii is SW Unleashed. Although it looks like a great game, it's a bit disappointing that it's the only one for Wii - yes, I would love to be a 'real' jedi with a 'real' lightsaber - if I would have a Wii of course. 
Sounds like an interesting job, Matt. The alterate way of watching a movie might be just the normal adaptation of your job I guess. But it's an interesting change, since it's none that I heard of before. Normally I hear about doctors who see someone being ill and trying to figure out what it is - without asking the person of course, or teachers who love to show their knowledge or sport scientists who enjoy to discuss if one has really a good movement and training etc.

Yep there's a light sabre. You're kind of right about the remote control though, that is used but it is put into the sabre so kind of two items combined into one to get it to work.

Well I guess they can't make it too big otherwise people would complain when they smash up their furniture.
I know when I turn on the Wii to play Tomb Raider I get a load of warnings of being away from things and people so you don't hit anything

I thought everybody knew Temple was a prequel to Raiders.

Sorry, but the one bugged me about Crusade- Raiders ends with Marion and Indy seemingly staying together and since Temple is a prequel obviously she is still in Nepal but Crusade was after Raiders and yet Marion isn't seen nor mentioned.
Crystal Skull at least explains what happened with their relationship. I won't spoil. I loved the movie by the way. I watched all three Indy films in anticipation so I knew what to expect out of an Indian Jones movie and loved what I got.
For anyone who's seen it, Ebert loved "Crystal Skull" and has a pretty funny way of explaining why it won't (or can't) be seen as great as the first (involving sausage).
