IN ANYBODY'S OPINION, WHAT ARE THE 5 GREATEST STAR WARS ACTION FIGURES IN THE HISTORY OF STAR WARS ACTION FIGURES....

1. Ralph M's Stormtrooper
2. Any Snowtrooper
3. POTF TIE-Fighter Pilot
4. POTF Han Solo Hoth
5. Jango w/Boba Fett Unleashed

Honorable Mentions...
-Any red Royal Guard
-Original Ceremonial Leia
-Original Mara Jade
-Space Trooper
-Any Clone Trooper
-Hoth Chewbacca

By the way, I'm not a regular here, so I'm sure this question has been posed, but why does the single-issued IG-88 only have one weapon? It seems as though, of the modern figs, only the SOTE IG-88 and the 12" line has two weapons. I hope it's not a PC thing, like a bunch of mom's getting PO'd at Hasbro, but then again, how many kids actually own a modern IG-88?

- Hermi Odle (2007)
- Ephont Mon (2002)
- C3PO w/removable limbs (1998)
- Shadow Stormtrooper (2008 Saga Legends)
- Galactic Marine - purple snowtrooper from ROTS (2007)

The VTAC IG-88 comes with two weapons. You may want to look into this figure as it is (in my opinion) the best IG-88 3.75" figure released to date.

Yoda - Vintage (he came with so much stuff! the cane, the belt, the cloak, the snake; they still haven't topped this one!)

Boba Fett - 300th Figure Edition (sculpt and paint job unparalleled)

Darth Vader - Ep IV 2007 Saga Edition (finally an ultra articulated Vader)

Stormtrooper - 2007 Saga Edition (ah, the uber-trooper of my childhood dreams, you can never have too many)

Darth Vader - McQuarrie Concept Edition (two different masks and Vader with a blaster, oh yeah)

You know, I do tend to get irritated by the 50,000 Darth Vader figures released every year, but I have to admit this is one freaking-sweet figure!

I hear ya' brother! Makes you long for the old days (the vintage days) when there was one, and ONLY one Vader in entire collection. Once you had him, you had him and he was all you needed.

Now it's Vader w/kung foo lightsaber flip, Vader with Force lightning battle-damage, Vader with removable underwear, Limited Edition Vader with chrome plating, Vader w/rocket firing power-fists, etc., etc., etc......

There's a reason you separate military and the police.
One fights the enemies of the state, the other serves and protects the people.
When the military becomes both, then the enemies of the state tend to become the people.

I know I already added my 5, but here are 5 more:

- R5-D4 (Saga Collection - 2006) - Superb figure, and a great update of the embarassingly bad POTF2 version.

- McQuarrie Concept Stormtrooper (30th Anniversary) - Excellent figure, and it was great this was re-released after the 2003 version was so hard to find (of course, this version was almost equally tough to find as well).
I'm a big fan of the McQuarrie SW Concept art, so I especially appreciated the effort to make figures based on this artwork. The art scene that the concept Stormtrooper is taken from is especially memorable!

- Tessek (POTJ) - Squid-Head was one of my favorite vintage figures, and this update is just incredible. Great detail.

- Ree-Yess (POTF2) - Another great update of a vintage figure.

- Ellors Madak, i.e. Duros (POTJ) - The cantina sequence is probably my favorite scene out of all six SW films, and this figure really did justice to the character in the film.
I was disspointed that the vintage line never had many cantina members, and was glad that the POTF2-on lines have finally made figures of some of these very memorable, but underrated characters.
