Speculation is that it is a new prop licensee. And 7/23/08 happens to be the San Diego Comic Con Preview Night.

Received my new Star Wars Insider in the mail this weekend and found the EFX ad on the back cover. It lists their website and here's the link:

I guess I'll get to check them out at Comic Con this summer. Not sure if they will be selling anything then, or just talking about what they will be coming out with in the future.

Heads up, those who want to try to get the 1:1 scale stormie helmet. Sale day is July 8. Check out all the information and a link to the efx website
here on TFN.
A bigger heads-up for anyone who had ordered this directly from MR and had their order cancelled - you will be given ordering priority if you contact efx. Details are in the story. You have to do that by July 1.

got my efx ANH stormtrooper helmet today!
This thing is top notch! I love the green lense option. It's really solid and well made and the paint job is flawless. the inner lining is the same as the MR Boba Fett!
I got #219 out of 500
here's some early Christmas in July shots of it.
