Does anybody remember the Star Wars Pepsi cans that were issued back when Episode I came out? They were eventually packaged into a set that came in a metal case that I got my dad to buy me back then. I was wondering how much it might be worth. I saw one on e-bay going for $7.69 and another for $50, but the second includes the gold Yoda can seperately. Up until now my instinct has been that this isn't worth much b/c it was sold directly to the public and the cans themselves were everywhere. As for condition it's in very good condition except for the latch which is broken. The Naboo starfighter shaped piece is still there, but the latch mechanism underneath is broken.

I hope those cans are empty. Other collectors have found that they can leak or explode with time. I'd store them away from your other collectibles if they are still full. I don't collect the soda cans but I think CrazyMike had some.

I have a large collection of cans from all over the world. I believe that particular set contains empty cans. If they are not please send me an email and I can give you details on how to empty the cans without any holes being visable. I would say that your set is worth $30 to $40 based
on the condition and the broken latch.

Your right, CrazyMike the cans were empty in the first place. Thanks for the info on the value. I wonder if there's any way to fix the latch?

Mike, how did you conclude that the cans are worth that much? I'm asking, because I have one single can as well and I would like to figure out its price, too - but just out of curiousity.

$40 to $60 US is what a set of the 24 North American cans have been going for on EBay over the last several years. As far as EP1 German cans are concerned I would say about 3-4 Euros per can. That is what I paid for the ones that I bought at Jedi Con in 2004.

The Pepsi cans were one of the best Episode One Collectibles . I worked in a small store at the time and eagerly awaited the new cans each week. Had a bunch of neighborhood kids coming in to buy the single cans as well as we broke them out of the twelve packs, we were one of very few places that did! Nice trip down memory lane.
