I'm probably going to pass on this. There's a display of the ships/vehicles here and I don't see anything I really want. If I happen to see the first ones at Smiths I will probably take a look then.

Apparently these have already started in France. One of the posters over on Rebelscum linked to a thread on another site that has a list and pics. (Not dialup-friendly). Note - the posts are in French.

I'm not really into the magazine/model partwork thing anyway, but I'm still miffed with DeAgostini for ending the (otherwise excellent) Fact File before Episode III came out
EDIT: Although I may have to swing by Forbidden Planet and check out the Death Stars when they're out. If they're coming out in the order or the list there then I doubt that my local WHS will still be stocking them by part 26. May be able to get DS1 there though.
...if I like it

Yeah, I might have to hit FP for Slave I. I was in WH Smiths on Saturday and I took a look in the partworks section but I didn't see any issues.

Yehoooo!!!
Man, I love these partworks, but they don't make it easy for those of us across the Atlantic to get them. I still haven't purchased half the Official Figurines issues. I guess ebay will be eating my paycheck again...

Any explanation for why there are two items listed for issues #3 and #5? I couldn't read the French text.
Also, can you tell if any of these are repacks of existing products? I wonder if they're all new, or are some 'borrowed' from other DeAgostini or Hasbro lines (like DeAg did with their Battle Games line).

I don't know why there are duplicates on 3 and 5 - I just copied the list from the French site. (I don't read French well at all either). All I know about them is what I have seen on the website and from that French site link. I'd be curious if the Slave I is a repack as well - we got one with the recently-finished figurine line. And I doubt any repacks would be Hasbro - as far as I know DeAg has nothing to do with Hasbro.

This partwork actually looks pretty good, and so I took out a subscription a few days ago. The magazine itself looks impressive with a high page count for a partwork (32 pages). And I must admit that the subscription free gifts of the poster and Vader figure were very tempting.

Maybe their server is just down. If you are concerned, try their customer service number in the morning. It's 0870 043 6400. Note - I took this number from one of the Figurines Collection issues.

It looks like their website is back - probably just a technical hitch.
