Kyle Katarn action figure in a Grand Admiral Thrawn box...

I had been searching everywhere for info on my action figure and I realized that the box is mislabeled. I have a Kyle Katarn action figure with 2 guns in a Grand Admiral Thrawn box. This is the Kenner Collection Star Wars Expanded Universe 3-D PlayScene, Asst. No. 69605 / No. 69888, Collection 2. It's in Mint Condition - never even hung in a store. the UPC is 0 76281 69888 5 1998 Hasbro, Inc.
Here are 2 pictures:
Has anybody ever heard of this before? How can I find the value? What do you think it's worth?

There really is no set value to it. I have a similar error figure (POTF2 Vader on a Han Solo card) and it's basically worth whatever someone is willing to pay for it. My best advice is to look up similar errors on ebay and go from there.
I know a guy who collects errors and prototypes and he sayshe sometimes sees figs like this sell for $50-150 and other times $30 or less. It all depends on what a particular buyer is looking for and if there are multiple buyers willing to start a bidding war.
Good luck and congrats on a unique collectible!

It's simply an error card, and the value depends greatly on which character it is and again, if anyone is even interested in picking it up. The neweste rror to show up, and one that might go for $20-$30 could be the FU Vader error with the unreleased Stormtrooper Commander cardback.

So how do I see if others have seen this - to see how unique it is. Does this seem fairly unique? I didn't realize I had it until I was going through and trying to price out my collection.

That figure may have ended up on other random cards OR that card may have ended up with other random figures but no one else probably does have that combination of figure and card. It was a mistake.
Like has been said before, there is not going to be a 'set' value to this piece, above what that carded figure is currently selling for. It's only worth more to the small percentage of collector's who focus on errors.

Thank you for all of your help and advice. Is there any other place I could post it for other people to check it out? And to sell a unique item like this, where would be the best place?

You could try Rebelscum. They allow buying, selling, and trading in their classified forums. (We don't). You have to register but it's free. Of course there's always eBay for selling as well.

Give sandtroopers.com a try as well. Like other sites you'll have to register to post in the forums, but there are people over there who do like to buy unique items like prototypes and errors.
