I'm sure a Corran Horn, or a Talon Karrde would be doing better than Nym. I like Nym, he's fairly cool in the game, and a neat looking big alien (reminds me of Kit Fitso actually). I still don't get why people are jazzed about the dignitary. What's the appeal, especially over General Reekian who never had a figure, has way more lines and is kinda cool. Can't say it's because he's an old human, because half this board is Dooku crazy. I think the one most fun for kids would be the Scout Trooper rebel, that's the one I would have loved as a kid.

Well the Dignatary is one of the few vintage who haven't gotten a modern counterpart. That's one reason. I'd prefer him but Rieekan would be fine. I don't get how the trooper is winning.

I don't get that either. It wasn't even in the damn movies and all you have to do is give a Stormtrooper figure a lightsaber. Stormtroopers are characters designed to be killed. They are not designed to be Sith warriors or tough. I'm also mad stupid Hasbro made them an option.

That Stormtrooper is just a space trooper with a lightsabre. I wan't Riekkan. There are so many cool characters from the original film that need to be made before concept stuff.

Don't worry, even if the Stormtrooper wins, I'm sure all of these will be made someday anyway. Remember, after Episode III, there will be no more movies, so Hasbro will have to make a figure of everyone if they want to stil make money off of Star Wars.

I think the problem is, movie-loyalists are splitting the vote. I see a lot of posts that read "I want the dignitary because there was a vintage one, but if not, Reeikan would be my vote..." and others that read, "Reeikan doesn't have a figure, and he's important. If not him, then... the dignitary." There's over 50% of the votes between those two. I bet that if people picked all five in order, then the trooper would be lagging behind. It's kind of like when John Williams was up against himself this year at the Oscars. He could get 40% of the vote when combining both nominations, but he would lose to a guy that got 30%. Hopefully the other two are close enough to the trooper for them to be made anyway, just without the "fan choice" sticker. Who lost to the Duros and Ephant Man, anyone know?
