A little OT, but I saw this and thought Lego collectors would appreciate it. USA Today had an article on Indiana Jones fandom and it had a picture of a life-sized Indy statue made entirely from Legos.

BTW, is it just me or does the Spalko figure look like it's holding a miniature R2-D2 in that 2nd picture  ?

I just got back from Wal*Mart and they had a display in front of the toy section of Indiana Jones Lego sets. They had the 'Jungle cutter' & the 'River chase' and some others that were non-KOTCS related.
Anyway, for all of you Lego collectors I guess it's starting to flow out now.
I double checked but no sign of the action figures, which I'm pretty sure don't hit until early May.

Exactly, and they weren't UCS. I expect ones in that line to be bigger.

Just a quick heads up... I've seen two people post [one @ the raider.net the other @ IMDB] that one of the recent 'Indy' Lego sets [I think it's a KOTCS one] is being recalled. They said when they took it to the register, it wouldn't ring up and indicated that it had been recalled. Not sure why or what the problem is. Just wanted everyone to know.

I believe that's because it's not yet supposed to be on sale. Some shops have jumped the embargo by puttin stock on shelves, but it's not yet in the system allowing them to be purchased at the register...
