For me it is R2-D2. I HAVE to get every R2-D2 figure that comes out, I just LOVE Artoo! Every R2 figure looks good to me, in fact I don't think you can make a bad R2. I also get most everything else with R2-D2 on it, from Artoo socks, to an Artoo blanket, Artoo clock, Artoo radio, Artoo picture frame, Artoo pepsi cooler etc. Second to R2 I would say Stormtroopers, you can never have enough stormies.

wow so many just look awesome to me! the bespin vader  , anakin hangar duel (don't laugh) luminara unduli, bespin luke, clone trooper (sneak preview) those are just some...i actually like SOOO many of them

Vintage Boba Fett and the vintage Biker Scouts. I have three each.
It`s a great feeling when you bought
a vintage Boba Fett.
P.S.: I guess I have enough of both.

Hothy, he's referring to "characters", not specific figures (like you said Hangar Duel Anakin). But, whatever floats your boat.
For me, it's stormtroopers. I can't get enough of those guys.
I think what makes it for the stormies are the drooping eyes and perma-frown. So cool.

For me it's not just R2, but all the astromech droids they have made. The imperial black one (R5-Q4?), and the red one that came with the Naboo Royal Starship.

I would have to say Vader. I have just about all Vader's released since POTF. The only two I lack (that I know of) are Commtech Vader and Emperor's Wrath.

I hate to give the easy answer, but in my case, it's Darth Vader. I love the slight variations on each figure we've gotten, like the CT cloth cape, Dagobah and Emperor's Wrath. The sculpts keep getting better, but I still think the figures could be a lil taller. Oh well, I love every Vader we've got so far!

MJF! This is tough for me! BTW I have an R2 & 3PO toothbrush! 
I will buy Every Vader, Yoda, Boba Fett, Han Solo, R2, 3PO, Leia, Anakin, & Obi Wan I can get my hands on! 
This subject has always been tough! My Favorite Top 3 SW Characters are Darth Vader/Anakin, Yoda , & R2  Followed closely by Luke, Han, Obi, & Boba
I simply can't have a Favorite, It's Too Hard.

For me it's any thing Fett. I wonder if they have Fett blankets?
A Fett clock would be nice.
I also like the Senator guards in their blue out fits. Also known as Courscant Guards. They look cool and cute!
Best of all though are biker scouts! I just wish I had the e-bay account to purchase some micro machine bikerscouts. So small and so adorable!
Maybe I'll find some way to actually register with e-bay that dosn't involve a credit card number.

I can't get enough of Mace Windu. I know there isn't alot of him, but he's so cool! What I do want more of Ewoks!!!!

I pretty much buy every figure i can get my hands on.....
But If i had to pick my favorite character, for action figures, I think It's be Han. kinda an unusual choice I suppose, but i have like 8 Hans, and they are all awesome. My first figure i ever bought was hand solo in carbonite, and one of my favorite figures ever is the com-tech chip han solo.... one of the first figure hasbro made with a holster for the gun like that, i think.

Well dang, i did the same thing you did hothy, stated specific figures ----- so if i had to pick just one character i would say Luke. Bespin being the best pose and the he-man-original pose being the worst
