	then why aren't people under the age of 13 allowed to be members? Internet rule. You HAVE to be over 13 to join anything online without parental permission. I'll look up the exact ruling.

	important to maintain a family-friendly level for more than just ages 13 and up. Why? You have to be 13 or up to even post here.

	You can read things here without registering. Not to mention that a Star Wars site doesn't have much of a reason to discuss alcohol, unless you're discussing Obi-Wan getting a drink in AOTC. Edit: Note: I'm not saying that I'm against all discussion of alcohol, because I'm not. I understand that there are many instances where casual discussion of alcohol doesn't hurt anything. 	There's no way to verify someone's age here. well, technically that's not true. all you need is a credit card number or social security number. or, hell, even a signed consent from a parent. but that's not the issue. EDIT: i think dp4m gets the picture i'm painting.

And what happens in a fan fic holds no weight in any sort of arguement, as a fan fic is written by a fan. Again, I don't have a problem with the majority of the discussion of alcohol. However, there need to be some limits, and those limits are what I think the AC wanted you to discuss. There definately is a difference between, "I like a nice Miller Lite every now and then", and "I was so wasted I don't what I did, you should get wasted if you haven't before, it's a lot of fun." Rather than simply grouping all alcoholic discussion together, break it apart, and give your thoughts on what type of alcoholic discussion should be allowed, and what shouldn't be. What I was saying is that Star Wars probably should be a good basis on what types of things are allowed. 	You forget that fan fic is also allowed on this site, so why aren't you cracking down on fanfics with drinking in them? Furthermore, characters in EU do not only drink, but several times they have gotten drunk. And it's family friendly right?
