The tie was bought at a department store called Proffitt's I've looked on the site and was unable to find the tie on it. But I don't think they sell items off of their site anyway. You might try the store locator. The brand on the tie is Geoffrey Beene. 	waves Hi everyone. I didn't notice this thread before now, but I think it's quite cool that other people from the JC are making Harry Potter costumes. I'm currently working on a Slytherin Quidditch costume, and my robes are almost done (my sister is also making a Ravenclaw version with me ). I also knitted my own Slytherin scarf (which I wear almost everywhere ), am 3/4 done with the Ravenclaw Quidditch sweater for my sister, and also started working on the Slytherin legwarmers (before I realized that I didn't actually have a pattern for them ). I have a pretty good pattern for the Quidditch sweater if anyone wants it, and I'm working on finding patterns for the legwarmers. If there's anyone who wants that pattern, PM me. Raef_Wolfe - I got that same calendar on sale for 80 cents, thinking that I'd be able to get some good shots of the Quidditch robes. 	My sister and I used the same pattern for the Quidditch robe as we did for our Jedi robes, except that we modified the sleeves to be shorter and made the hem shorter as well. 	Have we come to any conclusions about the new school room collar; wherther it's still a collar or now a hood? Had been out of touch with HP Costuming lately due to LOTR (hasn't read the ML from Dec and now still busy with LOTR costumes & armor as my group still got 1 Official* major event to settle this March* ). 	Notice PoA photos in this post In this picture and this one Harry's sweater looks to be open as if it zips or buttons up, but in this one it looks like the old v-neck. 	I would guess they are two different sweaters. And based on the first two pictures you posted, the sweater that's open looks like it would button up. 	Has anyone else seen the pic of the new quidditch robes? If not, it's located here. I'd really like to try and make this verison for POA...looks at her pile of red and gold fabric and sighs but I need some more pics of the robe. Hopefully they won't be far off. I've got mixed feelings about the new robes and I'm surprised because I heard initally that they were cutting quidditch from the third movie due to time constraints. Go figure, I get all set to go with the robes (original style) and they throw a new pic up. 	I can tell you there's a patch on the sweater of the quidditch robes...I do know that. And I believe both the quidditch robes and quidditch sweaters have the same patch. As far as the school uniform sweaters/robes, I don't think there's one on the sweater but I really don't know as I haven't done any research on that costume. 	There isn't any House Patch on the School Sweater. House Patch is only found on the School Robe and Cloak. 	New Quidditch robes!? Grrr that they changed the design (won't someone think of the poor fan costumers?) but YAY that there will be Quidditch in PoA! I was rather confused when they said they were cutting it, since it's kind of a big component of the book, with them actually winning the Quidditch Cup and all. And I'm still confused, because as far as I know Sean Biggerstaff is not in PoA, and how do you have Quidditch without Oliver Wood!?
