I want to thank all of you for all of the info and insights into this costume. It made the research process go so much faster as I was asked just two weeks ago if I could make this for a friend. The first week or so was taken up with getting her measurements and receiving the fabric. The real construction started last week Wednesday (after the upper body fitting on Tuesday) and I finished it on Friday (with a last fitting for the hem and neckline of the cape before putting on the hood). She wore it all day Saturday at Filmcon in Madison, WI and everyone who knew of Barriss Offee recognized her. If I ever figure out how to post photos, I will post some.
Thanks again (namely for the photo and hightlighting of all of those panels on the skirt)!!
