Wow. Those Tonner martians are awesome! That would make a great Aayla for sure.
Sorry, had to get that out first. Long time Star Wars fan here but new to costumes and props. I just finished reading Darth Bane Path of Destruction and have it set in my head that I am going to create my own Darth Zannah. I have an 18" inch American girl doll with black hair and green eyes. I have a red lightsaber and a black cloak already for her costume.
Can someone point me in the right direction for a few missing things?
1. Tips on making the tunic for under the cloak?
2. For her facial design I was going to use stick on jewels or try to use something with a pattern like a kids washable tattoo for under her eyes and over the nose, but I need something more permanent. I also am not sure whether that tattoo would stay on the doll's vinyl. I'm not artistic enough to attempt to paint it myself, so if I have to as a last resort I will look up repaint artists.
I also have another AG doll who has her own Princess Leia ANH costume. I'd like to share, but can't find instructions on how to post pics in a post?
Thanks for any suggestions you have in advance!

If you have photos already on the internet with photobucket or some other photo hosting site, all you have to do is click on the "image" button in a new post and copy and paste the link to the page your picture is on. Hope that helps! As an American Girl collector myself, I would love to see pics of your Leia doll! I don't know anything about Darth Zannah, but it sounds like a fun project.

I know much isn't known about her as a new EU character so I was just going to design something myself.
Photobucket is not working for me today at work, so I will have to post Leia later on this evening from home. My Jess doll poses as my Leia since she doesn't have bangs, and I got the ANH costume from a lady on ebay. I am going to have to change the boots though- don't like the ones it came with.

Well, not much doll stuff thats for sure! I've been busy studying for school. I've got a research paper due next week on top of a competition I'm going to. And I just got back from a LONG trip.

But I did finish an original valentines dress this month, that I haven't posted in here yet. Its not SW, but its my own design.
I keep meaning to get better pictures, but I've been very busy. My next few dresses that will come out soon are Sabe's battle gown, which is nearing completion, and also a marie Antoinette gown from the new movie. They're pretty cool gowns!!!
How about everyone else?
