Anyone know of any body paint that holds up in extreme temperatures?

Going to Burning Man later this year, and gets pretty warm in Black Rock City and all..

Thanks in advance

One of the girls in my local FanForce has successfully done a Twi'Lek a few times, even in rain as well as extreme heat.

She said she used Cool-Aid.

I don't know what the water proportion was.

Hopefully, that's at least a start.....

Kool aid? Maybe worth a shot.. Any idea if it's sticky or attracts bugs? I've never heard of it being used as body decor happy

Thanks...

For Mystique and Nightcrawler in X2, they apparently used Temptu brand "Dura Airbrush Makeup". Their website claims it can be worn underwater.

It's expensive, but it's an option.

Hey, anybody know what they gave Ray Park for TPM? In that fight seen you can see him sweating and it still doesn't come off!

Same thing, Temptu Pro. Very expencive option though. You might want to research PAX paint. There's also a body paint called Mud that's apparently quite durable. There's several websites on bodypainting, you might want to go on some of their forums and post your question there.

Actually, the black on Maul was called something like Reel Tattoo. It's plastic-based if I'm not mistaken. The red was something else, so maybe that was Temptu.

Keep in mind you want something that's breathable. If you're wearing it all day long you could pass out due to the heat.

He brings up a good point. It's not like you can put a fan on like you do when using a helmet. Now what about a Palpatine, would that be any different?

I doubt it would be sticky, because when you're making kool-aid you add in the sugar, doesn't come in the little flavor packets.

And if it were sticky, I'd feel sorry for you if you started sweating. sick

Maybe just use fabric dye? I have no idea how well it would work, but I know it does stay on my hands a while when I do tie-dye.

You're right. It's actually a tattoo ink that stays very well. Most tattoos you see in movies, like XXX and Red Dragon are done with reel. Unfortunately it has the same problem as Temptu in being rather expensive.

What is it that you want to do? are you lookin' to do William Wallace or just some designs. I've done ton's of temp tattoos for kids at fairs and such with the acrylic paint you get in the craft section at Wallyworld.
