I was gonna be an honest used car salesman or an honest politician but I figgered that no one would belive that.

So I opted for Darth Vader.

Tomorrow for work I decided to be original and go as a Bridezilla! Figured I'd get some use out of an old wedding dress happy I'm going to tease my hair (as if it were being pulled out) with a crooked tiara, wear the dress bustled up, and carry around a wedding planning book. Today I'm going to work as NYC witch lol. Green and black striped stockings with a green wig, and a few of my spider pins from my collection grin I also have a sheer black witch hat with gold stars on it that I'll pin to my wig when I get to work happy I'm cheating by wearing jeans though, it's too cold out for the witchy skirt.

Yesterday however, children were trick-or-treating adn we had no candy sad Obi Wan and Darth Vader came around asking for candy, the little Darth was trying to lower his voice to sound like Vader - too cute grin

Kay_Dee, that BSG uniform is incredible!!! Can I ask where you got the info and the parts for it? (pattern and the insignia, etc....) It looks frakkin awesome!

Visit Dewbackwing ASAP. I found the bulk of information I needed there. I also found useful information at the Stormhaven's web site (she even has up a photo I posted of the uniform back detail when I was sharing my research).

For BSG costumers who like to have fun getting together at conventions and chat about making costumes - the new colonialfleet.org is a great place to visit as well.

Tomorrow my school is having a contest so I'm definately participating! Although masks aren't allowed, and I'm not taking my fx saber to school. It'd be jacked before I even knew it. shock

If I can find a yellow trench coat within the next hour, I'll be going as Jubilee from the X-men. Otherwise... I'll probably be a Slytherin student or maybe I'll wear my Pride and Prejudice inspired dress.

Sadly, my lekku faded the multiple times I wore them over the summer so my green doesn't match like it used to.

Didn't do anything tonight. However, last Saturday I was at Woodbury University at the Halloween party. Of course, this is what I wore...

This Saturday's going to be fun....Sunrider Base, Rebel Legion event. I'll be celebrating All Hallows both early and late. It will be the first with the complete costume...I'll be rolling out the new Inner Tunic.

We did a Jedi VS Sith Halloween group this year. Photos can be found here:

That's me as Maul. I'm actually considering joining the 501st with it. I was very happy with how it came out.

Many thanks to 'seduced' for getting me some awesome breathing and sound clips for Vader!

Hope everyone had a safe and pleasant Halloween. ^_^

I know it's not Star Wars--but we did that last year.
I hope this is the right place to post this. If not just let me know and I will move it. My daughter (and the rest of us are too of course) is enjoying the HP books so much that the the whole family decided to wear Harry Potter costumes. Luckily my Mother-in-law is pretty good at sewing and she was very excited to help out. I assume you will recognize the characters but I will let you know that my daughter is 8 and my sons are 5 and 3.
