Non Original Trilogy Leias?

I know there are a few out there and it is difficult to hunt out what people have done be looking through older posts, so I thought I'd start a thread to make it easier.
I was intrigued by Kell's version of the Gentle Giant animated style Leia and then when I saw photos of the statue I was smitten and really loved it. At last a costume for curvy girls especially! I decided to make it for a convention in April (2007) and have finally written up how I made it. I still have to fix the wig and belt though before I give any thought to submitting it to the Rebel Legion.

No costume photos though (showing all angles) because no wig yet;) It is sitting behind me, taunting me with its little buns saying "make me better, you know you want to. I think the local dairy might have hair pins in fact...

You look GREAT Neimhaille! Nice work on the animated Leia dress - it looks fantastic!
I think I've seen Kell's too, but I honestly don't remember...

I've also done a couple of other "odd ball" Leias, but that one is my favourite

Oh do post the others:) I meant to edit my post to clarify that it's not just the GG version:)
I just tested how the additional hair pieces might work and they make a lovely huge bun on the side so I'll get some more gel (though I'm seriously considering some sort of glue if I'm not reusing this wig again). I also had a tidy up of my room and found my belt, new boots and dress so hopefully I can get some piccies this week of what I had intended the costume to be. Now to decide if I want to make the hood a single layer or leave it as a double.

As soon as I saw the statue, I fell in love with this costume! I just love that animated style so much! I'm hoping to make the costume next year sometime 
As for other Leia costumes, last year I was going to make Leia's jedi outfit from the 'Infinities' comic, though I realised that I would need parts of her Hoth costume to do that. I also want to do the imperial uniform dress she wears in that comic.

Yep! It would fall under "Informal/Non-canon" (or possibly EU), but it's definitely eligible for RL membership.

Wow! All of your Leias look GREAT!!! 
As for me, I had been wanting to do the Manga Version of Leia's ANH Outfits for years now, think ever since Dark Horse Comic released the Manga and I went into SW Costuming. I know, wrong choice for a Fat girl like me  as Leia skirts are so body-hugging but what the heck, I just love those outfits and want to be different from other Leia. And of course, Manga Leia seems to have better and more "modern" hairstyle! 
Had actually gotten all the materials for the Manga ANH Ceremonial Dress but some other costumes took priority right now as I'm not able to sew my own gown (yet!) so rely on a tailor. Maybe a couple of months, I can get this gown done finally. As for the Senator one, I did go about "converting clothings parts into it" years ago but the project fell through. My plan now is to get everything done with Cotton Lycra. Will get to them eventually.
