Well after many of thought and the changing of my mind, I have come up with a List:

1. Victorian Corset, for use with future projects
2. Medieval Design for a Friend
3. Giselle's Curtain Dress (Thanks Maggie for the Patterns!)
4. River Tam - Firefly and Serenity Versions
5. Original Design
6. Inara's Peach Gown (after 2 years of saying that I was going to do this, I'm now on the Road to making it again!)

OHHHHH!!! That Inara one will be really cool. Hope to see some pictures of that!

Yeah, I have had the material for it for ages, I thought I should start up again. lol

The pattern is easy enough to make from scratch so thats what I'm doing...

Beautiful Belle dress, Kell -- it turned out wonderfully!

I just bought some fabric for it, so I guess I'll add it to my list. wink

Because of Comic Con, I have to choose one more Costume to make and wear there, my original designs, arn't in the style of CC. They are just plan dresses and things...so I am racking my brains trying to think of one to make...One that can be done quick and can travel nicely...any ideas Because I have none...I have a very big soft spot for detail on a costume, so when ever I go to costumersguide, or even padawansguide I always end up wanting to make the detail ones...

Help! A simple costume, I just need to make a simple costume...

Try a Disney character, like Alice or Belle or Mulan.

I was thinking Disney mostly because, for a lot of them, there's costume patterns that would be easy to find to do some of them. Also, for the most part, not a lot of them are crazy-detailed, AND since they're coming from 2D animation, you can take whatever artistic liberties you'd like with color and fabric choice. happy

This year I've got a lot of hopeful costumes, but none are in progress yet. Studying abroad has deprived me of my sewing machine. I'm thinking about doing a few obscure anime costumes like Eirote from Scrapped Princess, Sarasa from Basara, Crystal from the Pokemon games, and Subaru from .hack//SIGN. I'm also tempted, time allowing, to go diving in my scrap bins and see if I can come up with something fun for the local Rennisance Festival. My college allows people to wear whatever they want for graduation, so I'm still trying to decide on a dress for that. At the moment, I'm scouring Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, Narnia, and other scifi/fantasy for something I like. Why wear something boring when one can graduate in costume?

This year has already been pretty busy for me. I made upgrades to the opera twilek (some minor beading issues), helped a friend finish her Imperial officer (Hat, Jacket, AND skirt), and my favorite...

It's an evening gown I made for my Project Runway auditions this past Sunday!

I made the New York Times online yesterday grin
