Due to some personal problems and group project that seems more likely to be deferred to next year, I'm 90% sure I want to scrap a couple of projects I planned to do this year. Anyway, I really, really, really have NO feelings any more to cosplay so what's the point of doing one of them.....unless I find SGD500 soon....
So here's my list now:
1. ROTJ Biker Scout Armor (need to do belt, cummuband & boots)
2. STARDUST Yvaine Star Gown (SUSPENDED tho' ALL materials are at hand)
3. PRINCE CASPIAN Lucy School Uniform (90% gonna be scrap) & Red Dress (50% gonna be scrap)
4. ROTS Padme Medical Gown
5. ROTS Padme Steel Blue Nightgown
6. ROTJ Luke Skywalker Tatooine Outfit
7. HARRY POTTER Hufflepuff School Robe
8. HARRY POTTER School Cloak

Woo! I managed to whittle away at my list a little!
Firstly I decided to take the Kaylee Shindig dress off my list. It's not a dress I've ever really liked, it was more there because people kept telling me I had to do it :P
Commissioned Pirate jacket for a friend
Giselle's Animated dress from Enchanted.
Not entirely happy with this, and I will be making alterations for the next time I wear it (fix up the flowers, new shoes). But was lots of fun to wear
Finally I finished Terry Dodson's Wonder Woman
This has been in teh works for over a year, so it's nice to have it finished! But I am of course upgrading it for the next time I wear it!

I have striked one of my Wish list! I wore it on the Saturday of Brisbane Supanova. I am really pleased with how it turned out.
This was a great timing for this photo!

I may have a go at my first SW sewing project, due to my sister raving about wanting to be a Firrerreo for Hallowe'en - apparently golden skin, stripey hair, and long canines would be "so much fun!" - but that's a big maybe. It would depend quite heavily on getting a sewing machine: while I happily hand-stitch every inch of my re-enactment kit, I'm not prepared to do the same for somebody else's Hallowe'en costume. So there, little sis!
There are definitely several re-enactment pieces on the cards, mostly of the Dark Age variety:
- finishing my new linen trousers - these just need dyed and hemmed, but it needs done by the Beltaine Fayre on May 3rd
- new linen braes - for a Wallace-era show on June 1st
- linen overdress - a thick woolen overdress is fine for the winter, but summer shows require something less warm
- a new undertunic would help, due to the old one starting to look more like a patchwork than a tunic
- black woolen cloak for my boyfriend: three-quarter circle, cowled, and full length. Considering he's 6'5" tall, that's a lot of sewing! And it all needs done by May 10th at the lastest, preferably May 3rd.
- putting together a new belt
- sheath for my langseax
- new turn shoes - not looking forward to this, as turn shoes are a right pig of a job and no mistake!
I suspect I'm going to be very busy for quite a while. Still, the worst of it should be over after June 1st. Until, of course, people start commissioning tablet weave . . .
I bring it on myself, I really do!

A lot has happened since I last posted here and I still haven't gotten around to the Pastel Gown, but I have a huge list of things to make for both my boyfriend and me.
Bleach: Soul Reaper Lieutenant's outfit - Current Project
Bleach: Soul Reaper Captain's outfit
Trigun: Vash the Stampede's Red Duster Outfit
Trigun: Meryl Stryfe
Dragonball Z: Goku
Inuyasha: Inuyasha
Inuyasha: Kagome
And probably something from Fruits Basket.
...boy, I've sure changed with anime in just a year.

Awww you're so sweet! Thank you
The main inspiration was well... The boyfriend? Weird-ish, I know. It started out as a Trooper Groupie, so i could atleast match him at New York Comic Con(we're dorks like that)... Trooper Groupie turned into Troopette... We let our imaginations run with it, and this is what we got! He designed and made the belt and bracers, and also painted the stripes on the boots.. I did all of the fabric parts... and the blaster! Im proud of the blaster
