Officers Uniform

I've been searching for a long time now for a pattern of the officers uniform. I've gone to all the places that have been recomended by this massive group of people and still no luck. Is there anyone out there that has the pattern for the black uniform and wouldn't mind making me a copy of it? And by the way... what would the recomended material be for this? Please contact me if you can help.
I've really enjoyed reading all of your posts... well, at least 6 hours worth today.

Are you refering to the Imperial Officer Uniform?

As stated there, one of the pattern that was previously recommended is Simplicity 7274 and you might still find it on eBay if lucky. I know I haven't use mine or even unfold the pattern pieces. 
Another pattern that looks similar is McCall's M4745 and as usual, it MUST be modified to look closer to the original Imperial Officer Uniform.

As for material, I'm planning to use this Japanese School Uniform Fabric which is Polyester-Viscose Blend (and it comes in many, many, many colors  ). Love it cause the last time I had a pleated skirt done using it, the pleats holds even now almost 7 years later after I "hot" iron it. And of course, it doesn't seems to get wrinkled after washing.
The other alternative is one of those Polyester Suiting Fabric that is used for Pants but adviceable to try to aim for those with a more "Matte" look. And if you can afford it or get a Bargain, one of those Wool Suiting (Blend or 100%) will do the job tho' should try to aim for those "semi-thick" or not-too-soft kind.
Of course, to get a Crisp Look, you should line your Tunic as it not only give the Suit more body/thickness but also help to absorb some of your sweat. And ironing your Suit with Starch (commercial spray one probably) will also help to give it more crisp and look smart.
Ps: Aiyah, overall, you are suppose to iron or hang-up your costume before wearing to smoothen all wrinkles.

Thank you for the info... it really helped.
About how much should I plan on spending for material? I'll probably go with the japaneese stuff if I can find it.

I was going to say Kathy is the source to refer to. My officer's uniform is a modified Civil War uniform. If you want to believe in the so-called wisdom of "Trooper Expert", he says that it is a chauffeur's uniform.
My advice is to take that knowledge that Kathy has produced for the rest of the world and exploit it. Why not take advantage of all her hard work? She spent years doing the research. She deserves much praise what all of her efforts. I wouldn't waste my time with any other advice. Kathy is the 501st authority on this costume. Take her advice and run with it!
As for material. Depending on where you live wool can be a real pain. Some prefer to use wool. Me, I used gabardine. That is the material that is used to make Dickies coats, pants and the like. My first costume was even made with colored denim. So you have a few options. Any of the various material choices offered would be perfectly fine, in my estimation.

(i believe that garbadine is a weave and wool is the base material) - i am using a wool garbadine for my jacket and a poly garbadine (lighter in weight) for the jods..) you can get garbadines in various base materials

Cool. Thanks.... I think mine is cotton? Possibly a ploy blend. If you have a fabric store or outlet near you.... check it out. Ask a lot of questions. I am sure those folks can help you out!
