If you mean the Hanger Technicians from A New Hope... there are some folks in the Rebel Legion, Sunrider Base giving it go!

Sunrider Base currently does not have anyone working on the costume, but anyone is always more than welcome to stop by our project board and ask about a costume. We'd be glad to help figure anything out.

You are wrong, Rachel. There is someone in Sunrider Base who is working on this costume. 
I just ordered the Tech helmet from Jim, and am about to order a white 100% cotton coverall that I will be dyeing after I do the pocket, collar and sleeve cuff mods (planning on buying some cotton twill to use for the pockets, not a 2nd set of coverall to cut up )
I'm even working on a tool pouch for this costume, and I have my OD webbing for the belt.
I just haven't posted anything about it on the Sunrider Boards yet, because I know people (like our CO) want to see me finish my X-Wing Pilot costume first. I have mentioned it to a few poeple here and there though.
So Bill is correct. I've been talking about this costume with him on AIM. Though "some folk" isn't quite correct, because so far, it's only me. 
There haven't been any actual standards written for this costume for the Rebel Legion yet, but it's pretty simple.
Basically, the coveralls have the same configuration and pockets as the X-Wing Pilot flight suit, including arm tools. It hasn't been decided if the color is tan or gray, so both are deemed acceptable. At this point, I plan on splitting the difference and dyeing mine ecru, which on the Rit Dye site, and on my monitor, looks like a slightly grayish beige.
Other key elements are an Olive Drab web belt with mini flare loops and buckle just like the X-Wing costume.
The helmet is like the Rebel Fleet trooper helmet, minus the 2 visor pieces and back swoop, using just the helmet shell, comm box and chin strap.
I need to go back and watch ANH to see if the Techs ever tuck their pants into their boots, or always leave them out.
The SWTroopers site is wrong about the "brass two-piece buckle". I believe that's for the Honor Guard, a totally different costume, not the Tech. You can sort of see the buckles used in the above photo, they are the same as the X-Wing pilots have.
