Hi folks

Just to start off, I'm not too sure if this has been posted in the right place, feel free to point me in the right direction if needs be...

I am looking forward to the Cinema release of the Clone Wars and am planning on attending the local Cinema dressed as a mandalorian or a Jedi (or maybe two seperate trips, one as each).

Just wondering if anyone else was planning on doing this, or if I'm gonna be a loner sad

The 501st will be trooping this, for sure. I just finished a Ep 2 clone build, and there are a lot of folks at Clonetroopers.net and Clone-Empire working on Ep 2 Clones and Captain Rex's.

I don't know of anyone who has finished building the general armor, like what OB1 has, but it's similar to what the McQuarrie Vader wears. And that stuff is out there, to a point, but it'll cost you.

Like all good costumes, you can do them right, or you can do them cheap, or you can do it quickly.

Good luck and MTFBWY!!!

Just out of curiosity, why a mandalorian for a clone/jedi show?

Well, it's all about showing our Fandom for the event isn't it? tongue

It'll be cool to wear something related to The Clone Wars but some times, pocket and/or time won't allow. Heck, I wore Lil Boba for ROTS and my friend provided all OT Characters (and Darth Maul) for the Charity Premiere of ROTS.

As for me, hopefully my Scout will be done by then praying so I'll be wearing it to The Clone Wars Premiere, Screening, Tie-In Events etc etc. I might also wear my Snow Bunny Padme (need to redo the Boa.....as soon as I can afford the Fur Trimmings from Spotlight cry and dye them blueish), TIE Pilot and other SW Costumes (as soon as I finish them) to other non-501st or FanForce Outings.

Other than that, I only know of 1-2 people here in Singapore working on Clone Armors right now for The Clone Wars Premiere (not counting the resident 17-year-old clone who finally made his AOTC Armor wearable); rest of us will be wearing our Prequal and OT Costumes & Armors.

I want to go as a mandalorian as the Clones were created from a mandalorian, and there were some clones trained by madalorians, like the commandoes trained by Kal Skirate and Vau.

Vau's armor would be super cool. Black and all!

Why yes I am. Friend and I are going as Anakin (myself) and Obi-Wan (him). We have a whole bunch of people going to the midnight show but unfortunately we are the only ones dressing up. I was going to take my costume and get some dirt on it, literally. Going to make it look like it was actually in battle and such, dirty up the glove for sure, and growing my hair out even more for it. I'd like some advice if you guys can check out my myspace, check the progress on the flowing locks: http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendid=111991027

I can't see your myspace b/c it is set to private but I suggest visiting SOTS(www.sonsofthesuns.com) for all your Anakin costuming needs.
