X-wing pilot Comm Pad for gloves - where?

Hey there folks,
I'm creating a screen accurate costume and I've got a few bits left to collect.
I've managed to get most bits from online prop builders and ebay but have a few pieces left I'm having a hard time sourcing:
1. I need a comm pad for my glove - technically it's the ESB Hoth glove comm pad I need - any sources?
2. I am looking for a source for the rebel interplanetary map that fits in the orange jumpsuit windowed pocket - sources?
3. I would like to find aluminum data cylinders (aka control rods), I have resin ones but they don't look the best - sources?
Any help with sourcing these would be GREATLY appreciated (thanks so much!)

Here are the most complete sources of info on X-Wing costumes that I've seen:
Dagobah Swamp and Echo Base
Hope that helps!
Regards,
M.

For a screen accurate costume, you can forget about the Interplanetary Map. It doesn't exist. What has been identified as that is simply the ANH/ROTJ comm link hanging up out of the pocket. If you are going for the glove Comm link, Then to be screen accurate, you'll need the hoth jacket and greyish gloves. The black gloves never had any sort of comm link on them.

If you have the Hoth jacket, do you really need the code cylinders?

No the jacket covered the pocket in the flightsuit where the cylinders would go. so it's a detail no one would ever see, except you when you put the Jacket on.

If you have the Hoth jacket then you are indeed a lucky person in the first place!

How about having one customed made?
Surely the design can be figured out somehow by an experience seamstress/tailor and replicated?

Is this the beastie you're looking for?
I have ONE cast in resin and cleaned up. The toggle is sanded down to the right height.

I plan to make sew one for myself this fall, and of course I will share my pattern with everyone who wants it. I hope there will be lots of snowspeeder pilots gathering in the celebration in Finse, Norway this winter.

Why do you want the Hoth pad for the X-Wing pilot?
And as for the code cylinders, Kenny the Elvis Trooper makes awesome ones:

the ESB pilots had the hoth comm padd on their gloves. They also weren't the black gloves of ANH or ROTJ.

I got myself some Hoth pilot gloves. TIG welding gloves.
They can be had for very little. Mine cost only $3 / pair + s/h!
A few problems though, quality was bad, but luckily I had bough three pairs, so I got two pairs that were OK. Another problem was that there was print on the cuffs. I remade the right cuff using leather from one of the bad gloves. The print on the left cuff should be covered by the comm pad. I also made the gloves narrower at the wrists, which made them fit and look better. Now they really look like the authentic gloves!
I have looked a whole lot at images of Luke in ESB, and I do not think that the one that navarre1095 posted pics of is too accurate. Instead of a rocker switch, I see a small knob, possibly for a slider.
There is no curved in front of the "microphone" - instead, there are a couple of tiny switches. Luke pushes them to call Han just the moments before he gets attacked by the Wampa.
... and the pad in the chest pocked is NOT the same as the wrist comm pad that pilots wear in ANH and ROTJ. It is the #1 in navarre1095's pic.

If you've got screen caps, post 'em so the rest of us can see them.

These are the best pics I have found of the comm pad. They are both promotional images of Luke Skywalker, not screencaps. The images have been scaled up.
I am also interested in a screen-accurate comm pad. I have asked around and have not had any luck so far.
I think that I will attempt this one myself.
I have a source for the pad in the chest pocket, though.
