hey everybody,
does anybody know where i can get a complete kit for lukes blaster in anh for less that $100. thats the cheapest ive seen. or does anybody know of a way to make my owm from parts that i could buy at home depot or something. please let me know

Which one? He uses a storm trooper blaster and has a ceremonial pistol similar to Han's at the end. The rifle he uses when he is attacked by sand people I believe is a projectile rifle and therefore not a "blaster."

The pistol he had at the ceremony was the same pistol Leia had when she was captured.... it was not a DL-44. He got his DL-44 variant in the next movie.
If it is the stormtrooper blaster, then just go to the local toy store and look for the Hasbro toy blaster. If it is the ceremonial blaster, then it is a completely different animal, altogether.
If I recall correctly, that blaster was a modified 9mm pistol. Here is a place to look that could give you a little bit more information on that peticular prop.
