I'm a little surprised a thread wasn't started yet for this yet 
So, with only 15 days left, who's going, where are you staying, and what are you wearing?
I'm actually going this year! Will and I haven't been since 2003 and we've been dying to go back.

Yay for D*con Newbies! It's quite an experience!
Benae_Queen- I can't wait to meet you! I can't tell you how many times I referred to your Dressing a Galaxy Runway show pictures for my costumes! You should get half credit for all of my creations!
This will be my 5th year and I'll be staying at friends apartment within walking distance. D-con after dark is too wild for my taste. Leave it to me to always leave the party early but I'll let everyone else party for me! so PARTY ON!
I'm riding with others, so my costume selection is limited this year:
- Scarlet's Curtain dress from GWTW (for Friday night costume contest maybe?)
- No Zam (just too hot and didn't get to my upgrades)
- Packing Padme (hopefully I'll finish it, I might be hemming during the con)
- Secret Dress made from Sheets- very Project Runway
- ANH Leia for RL photoshoot
Can't wait to see everyone there!

I'll be there as well, bringing down my usual Leia compliment, with the new addition of Boushh. I had a couple others on my list but I ran out of time, spending a lot of it in Wookiee costume land these last months, working with my husband to complete his Wookiee which we're both very excited about.
Looking forward to seeing everyone - the plan is to arrive early Thursday afternoon to have time to get settled.

I'll be there again.
Bringing my X-Wing pilot (of course), and planning to debut a new Rebel costume that has never been done before.
Staying at the Marriott.
Partying at the Hyatt.
When not doing Star Wars stuff will be at Skeptrack at Hilton.
Just need to find out what to do now at the Sheraton.

I'll be at the Marriott - Thurs thru Tues.
I'm minimizing everything to the 50 lb, one-bag limit plus carry-on. So, I'll likely be Jedi for all of DragonCon.
Rant::::::: what a hassle it is for a costumer to fly with luggage now.   No Angel-Puppet, no St. Mungo's scrubs, no dead-Jedi-ghostie. Next year I'll probably be able to get a ride and bring my usual stuff.
I entered the masquerade at Worldcon and paid the extra fee for the second checked bag, but DragonCon is hall-costumes for me (hall costume Heaven, masquerade Hell) and I don't feel like paying the fee again.

Got to sit this one out this year. My mate got laid off back in May and didn't go back to work until mid July so we are still playing catch up financially. Got a lot of 501st events to do this year and a November Vulkon. I still am gonna miss the "Big Show". I have wanted to hook up with the Star Wars ladies for the longest time. Maybe next year.
