Coruscant Security Force Officer

The Coruscant equivalent to Corsec, I'd really like to make this costume after I featured them in a fan fic.
Possibly the helmet would be the hardest bit as the vest seems to be made of stiff fabric. The blue suit also would be easy to find a pattern for.
What do you guys think? Maybe when I make this, they'll accept me in the 501st

Hmm, I'd use Navy BDUS for the shirt and pants. Easy to find at alocla Army/Navy store or online. The sleeves on the BDU 'shirt' can be easily altered to get the look you need. The thing over the helment looks like a hood.
I don't think this is a costume the 501st would accept for membership, the rebel legion will though.
501st will defiantly take Imperial officers, Navel Officers, Imperial intelligance, Pilots(Black jump suit with a helment and chest box, black boots.) Bounty hunters, jango fett, Boba Fett, Dengar, Boosh, etc.
Of course stromies, Clones. Royal Guard, Emporer Palpatine in his various looks from Episode 1 through 6.
There's more I can't name them all at the moment.

They accept clones! And Coruscant Security Force are Republic era, before clones were even about.
And I live in Oz, the Navy and army surplus is a little different here.

I thought about doing this costume, too. I have a few thoughts on t... however, the Coruscant Security I had in mind were the ones seen in the Union graphic novel (the wedding of Luke Skywalker and Mara Jade).
I'll have to dig up some references. The costume that you are thinking of could, potentially, be a Rebel Legion costume. Provided that they are willing to approve it. Again, needing the three points of reference.
I am off to lunch, but I can do some more digging later. PM me if you want to kick some ideas around.

Ok... the Coruscant Security agent I was thinking of is actually listed as a New Republic Security Forces agent. It looks a little bit like your Coruscant Security Force Officer, with some bit of variance.
There is a pic of the NRSF's in the Union graphic novel, but I couldn't find any doing a google search. I do have this, however: 
the color scheme is pretty much a dark blue (like Police SWAT BDU's) jumpsuit, motorcycle-like helmet in a matching blue and silver, black boots (look like WWII French doube-buckle boots) and leg armor (lower leg armor resembles baseball catchers leg armor) and a black tactical vest.
This is probably something you could get a working start with. Folks have given good suggestions. Keep me posted.
