	I am thinking about starting to try and make costumes but I have no idea where to start with anything. I haven't sewn much, but I am a technical theatre major, so I have built props and such before. I figure the best place for me to start then would be building a lightsaber, but I'm not sure what materials would be best. Could someone give me some ideas of where to begin with this? I was thinking about using either a metal pipe or pvc for the hilt. Now for the costume part. I was thinking about creating either Jaina's Force Heretic III (Japanese cover version) or Mara Jade's costume, but I'm not entirely sure. Which costume do you think would be best for a new costumer?
