I'm interested in creating a costume for the coming Halloween, the KotOR Jedi being my preference. I looked in the thread thats already been made, but couldn't find any clear help in the how to. Anyone out there have a good plan to follow when it comes to the robe itself? How to get the folds is the biggest dilemma I've found. Any suggestions would be much appreciated!

Simplicity or McCall's (I can't remember which) has some pretty decent patterns for the robes. If you are near a Joann's Fabric Store, they have them on-hand, pretty much all year round. I would go there. The name of the pattern type is called "Wisdom Seekers", if I remember right.
