I looked through several pages of threads and didn't see anything about Isard, so hopefully I'm not duplicating an existing thread.
A friend and I are working on making a Ysanne Isard costume. So far we've completed the red jacket and pants. The belt and boots shouldn't be too difficult.
The difficult part of this costume is the hair.
Isard's hair is longish black straight with white streaks at the front.
Does anyone know a good reliable resourses for quality wigs? I've had a bad experience with an online wig store in the past so I'd like to find one that someone has had good success with.

You could try dying a wig of the appropriate length/style to match.

I highly recommend amphigory.com for wigs and extensions.
Dying a wig, at least a synthetic one, is an irritating process. It can be done, but you'd probably manage to stain the white bangs in the process. I'd advise getting a black wig and then a pack of white extensions. Weft the extensions, sew them in, and then style them nicely. This is a good tutorial for making sewn wefts. For thicker bangs, rather than piling the extension fibers up, make the weft wider then roll it up on itself when you're done.

That's a great idea. I love that website. I've bookmarked it for future use. Thanks!
I found this wig. It's pictured in red but it comes in black, too. I think this might work.

Nice! And that looks to be a pretty high quality wig too. Do you know what kind of fibers it's made of?

It just says it's made of fiber. LOL that's helpful. Upon further study it's made of Kanekalon fiber which is an acrylic fiber that goes through a specialized process to better resemble human hair. It's a $48.00 wig so it should be pretty nice. anything too cheap will resemble Barbie hair.

I was going to suggest finding a Rogue wig; that works great!
