	A friend invited me to a, sigh..... to a LARP. I've agreed to go. A person I hate is a jedi padawan but all the sith positions are taking. I'm going with Bounty hunter so I can shoot at her. I've never done this before. I am very poor. I am handy with tools and own a lot/have access to a lot. I've been told to purchase one nerf gun. Model? Paint it? I'm going to be humanoid, I guess. I have a little makeup from last years showing of the dark knight but thats it. I can get to a goodwill easily. My hair is shoulder length black. What do I do? What's the best basic stuff? Is there a site of fan stuff I should consult? I've been looking up races but am way out of the loop on all this stuff. 	I suggest you first check with the LARP group that you are about to join. Each group has their own set of rules on what weapons and such that they allow. Also, Google is your friend. If you look up Star Wars LARPS, many of them have some great ideas on costumes, and weapons you can use in a LARP. 	That statement bothers, me. That you hate this person and want to shoot her (presumably since you can't slice her up with a red bladed lightsaber). A friend I've had for a while, like 4 or 5 months. Met her last semester. I revealed that I had a thing for her. Did it via IM. She's silent for 10 minutes then logs off. Then she avoids me at all future times we are online together. Then she removes me from her friend's list entirely. I'd have been fine with a sorry, no, or anything of the sort. I was expecting a negative response. But I was not given the decency of an answer. She is a coward, and a cruel one at that. I want to shoot nerf at her. Moving right along, The LARP group is small, run by 2 people for one guy's birthday party. They ddn't have much info. I made up a character and a quick back story but thats all they requested of me. They told me my abilities. All they wanted was name and race. I can't really make a helmet and all that. I went with a half ubese bounty hunter. I'm collecting nerf stuff now. I got a blowdart gun and a small single hand gun, both nerf. I've been searching Ubese costume stuff but can't find much. I'm thinking just a white jumpsuit of some kind and a hood. I'm waiting to hear back from the GM/DM/I dunno for whether or not I should be making a boffer weapon. 	Hi! The Wookepedia shows them wearing alot of loose layers and such..to hide the fact that they were so slender. (Slight Build) Also, they tend to be heavily cloaked, so if you cant afford the helmet, at least wear a large over-sized robe or cloak to hide your features. They have an affinity for technology, so nerf anything that shoots seems to be a good thing for you.
