	how could i make the helment from an old toy baseball batting helment any ideas at all and ill be making the costume out of cardboard

	Not really... the cost of materials for conversion will cost, easily, ten times that. I think the link that was provided for you is going to be your best bet. You could also try looking up "pepakura" designs, too. They are designs that you print out, cut and tape together to form the shape of the helmet. You then go through the motions of converting it into a hardened shell, either by resin or bondo. Either way, the materials alone are going to be more than a mere $5. My advice is to just simply save your money and by a helmet if you have no artistic abilities to create one, yourself. Also, I would suggest checking out the Mandalorian forums for other ideas. 	Thing is, almost every Mando costume made out of cardboard looks like crap.
