I noticed something tonight when i saw the movie again that had not been mentioned about Barris's dress....the top of it has piping/seams going horizontally across the front of it spaced about and inch to 2 inches apart.....
Anyone else notice this?

I'm thinking of one day doing Bariss costume, I have to finish my Padme dress first and then get some money to buy fabric, but I just noticed one thing. On page 116 in the Art of...there is a concept drawing of a female Sith, the hood, and the horizontal lines are very simple to Bariss costume, I'm quite sure that it is modelled after this early concept.

I registered and bumped this thread for the sole purpose of having you guys look at this fabric swatch. I'm considering buying some for a Barriss Offee cape. Whaddaya think? Should I go for it or hold out for something better?

It doesn't match exactly, but it's close to the right color and it's inexpensive. I'm not going for an precise replica, here.
