If anyone is interested in a good quality bodysuit, rope and cape, check out EBay and look for Customsprops. I got mine from him and they are; "Impressive, most impressive!" I have had several compliments on mine. As far as price goes, for the entire outfit, I think I spent $1445.00 and that is not counting the helmet and light saber. All total, I think it was a little over $1700.00. Helmet still needs some work, but I am very proud of it.

Hiya Folks...

I need a passable pair of boots for Vader. I don't have $500 for Motorcowboy, so something cheap but decent.
Any ideas?

Thanks!

here is a pic from my last appearance...

Do a search on ebay for "officer boots" or "riding boots". I scored a pair of brand new, all leather English riding boots for $65 shipped. While there are some cheap vinyl boots available at some costume stores, they will fall apart on you. I bought a pair and they didn't last an hour before tearing and falling apart. Whatever you do, go leather but don't pay more than a $100 if you can help it. Certainly not $500. That's just a rip-off.

soon as i get the pics uploaded, i will post them up. slow goin, as netzero, and dialup givin me a hard time right now.

but, i had a complete blast at defcon. my garrison was there, and they had been tryin to reach me to appear there, and they were very impressed with my vader, and even moreso with that V2 unit.

sunday, while in jedi gear, i got on tv with chanel 6 news, it airs tonight at 10 pm. kotv.com should have it in video links section afterwards. so anyone can go there look it up and watch it.

i got a few shots with my garrison too. i even got another event to go to next month locally here. a request for a 501st vader and according to my work schedule im off, so im doin that event.

Well now those are just great pictures! Its great to see a great Vader costume - and a sense of humor to boot! Speaking of boots, I really laughed out loud at the picture of the Vader and Stormtrooper boots outside the kid's play area!!! applause That was inspired photography!

I hope you each got a Vader and Stormtrooper bobblehead for youe efforts - some of these toys are really neat!

Folks, I now have a Don Post Classic Vader helmet.

Those of you that have one, what mods have you done to it?

I was thinking of trimming out the eyes to make the openings bigger but wasn't sure.
