I finally get to take my truck in to get the catalytic converter replaced today. It's failed emissions, so I haven't been able to drive it (legally) for a month or so.

If this works, then I'll actually be able to get my plates & registration taken care of, and then I can drive my truck again. It's a small victory, but I'll take it.

I had a similar experience when I went back to school. Then I got pregnant and didn't fit inside the desks anymore so I quit. Er, I mean, I'm on a break for a bit. Still working on my master's. Yeah, that's it...it's only been about 2 1/2 years since my last class. I'm pacing myself. batting

my boss is so cool. i tell him i want to take some time off tomorrow. he says go for it. I tell him i also want to take some time off next friday as well. he lets me. he says as long as nothing big is going on i can take off whatever time i want to.

if anyone is interested in our tv i will let it go for fairly cheep.

A friend of mine needs to get rid of one (irony: she runs a cat shelter; he's not happy being surrounded by so many other cats) and she really wanted me to have him -- the the extent of providing three months' worth of food and litter, and, from the sounds of it, a bazillion other things.... I'm going to Loveland to get him this afternoon.
