	The Humvee proposal is dead. And corporate sponsorship by Medved was deemed inappropriate to the 501st MG, so that's out. I'd suggest we get with them and do the whole Star Wars thing together. I still have yet to decide if this event is for me (I prefer to do charity functions), but I may change my mind. 	OK folks, we are all set to roll with the 501st on this gig. Parade starts at 10 am, and parade organizers are askin' us to begin lining up at 8 am. Parade route covers about 2.5 miles, so plan your footwear accordingly. Keep in mind the 10 am start time means when the BEGINNING of the parade starts moving. It could easily be 11:30+ before our part of the parade actually gets mobile. If your costume is somewhat....limiting....in regards to bathroom breaks, then bear that in mind as well. Also, water/snacks etc. are typically the responsibility of each participant. We can hand candy out along the parade route, but we can't throw it to/at the kids....as much as we may desire to.... ALSO.... NOTICE NOTICE NOTICE NOTICE NOTICE There were some "issues" last year involving the varied & assorted costumed fan groups all essentially 'lumped' together in one themed group by the parade organizers. We can expect this type of spacial arrangement again, however we must ensure that any....shenanigans .....are kept to a bare minimum or eliminated outright. There were complaints by both participants and parade-watchers alike about behavior by some of the "Sci-Fi folks" in last year's parade. So, that having been said, let's make sure that the RMFF leaves a lasting POSITIVE impression this year. 	I can guarantee that the offending parties in question will not be in attendance this year.
