	Ad-Hoc sparring is best kept to events where that is the highlight of the event. We are guests at this parade and must behave accordingly or you will be kindly asked to leave. No offense, but people don't usually play-fight unless they're Klingons or in the Steel City Jedi (and are 18 so they can accept full responsibility for their actions). I know I would not spar with anyone unless 1) They were consenting adults, and 2) would not hold anyone at fault if something went wrong or got hurt. The aim of this event is to parade as Star Wars characters, and act honorably so we get invited back again next year. Dress in costume, wave to the crowd, and have fun. 	Yeah, its a really serious rule that has been enforced at meetings we spar at. Mainly you HAVE to be 18 and we recently began wearing head protection too. And I wouldn't really suggest fighting in costume either. It would be too risky with a costume that you worked so hard on. 	My suggestion would be to check the RMFF Guidelines regarding Lightsaber combat and minors. At RMFF events, we do not allow any minors to participate in swordplay of any kind. This decision was made by the group for the protection of everyone. And back to the real task at hand... I will be going w/ the Depa costume for certain. 	I apologize for the late notice on some of this relevant info. I'm still waiting to confirm w/the 501st regarding our place in the parade lineup, as well as the staging area.
