	I had to reorder checks for the first time in my life today. I just got to the last packet of checks that I got when I opened this account four years ago. They even have the address of my first apartment on them. 	I fell prey to the little shoe devil that sits on my shoulder and says "Hey, they're in clearance, and they're completely outrageous so you should own them." 	Yep - definitely looking forward to mid-march! But it's going to be a somewhat twisted vacation, because I will have a very stressful 2-day work thing in the middle of my "vacation". 	I love when someone puts something on their calendar a month in advance, promises up and down that they'll attend, and then cancels the day of because they're "sick" (chronically so... hypochondriac, maybe?) and then turns around to invite a dozen people on Facebook over for a party at their house, not realizing that the friend that they had to cancel on because of their illness... is also a friend on Facebook. 	UUURRRRRRR! It makes so mad! SO MAD! URRRRRRRRR! On a side note, in my utter boredom, I've decided to try flagging down an art commission for one of the games I play, and I've been sculpting like crazy over the last week or so. Might know on Friday if they accept my submission. Rest of the job front is completely barren. There's a 3-month and a 6-month contract that I've been trying to get into, but I may not have enough experience in 1 particular technology. And the other -- while the company is willing to re-activate my government "Secret" clearance, it would take 3 months to process, and the contract is only 3 months. 	I don't know if it's because I got enough sleep, or I'm wearing running shoes, or my friend is coming over to scrapbook tonight, or it's really nice outside, or what, but when I went over to the other building to get my lunch, I suddenly had the urge to run. Not to get away from anyone, but just to run. Now I'm antsy. and oddly happy. Something must be wrong with me, I even started to organize the pile of clothes on the floor this morning before I stopped so that I wouldn't be late getting the kid to school.
