	I have been here almost a year...october will be a year. 	So I'm riding shotgun, minding my own business. Jonathan and I are driving back from the dog park, listening to tunes, and letting the cool, dusk air come in through our moon roof. Now, I can't be sure who struck first, but suddenly, my finger was in a fiery pain, and I was madly swatting at a spider on my jeans leg with my eyes closed. I managed to peek at it once more and was surprised to find it still clinging there. Apparently me screaming, "GET IT OFF! GET IT OFF! IT BIT ME! IT BIT ME! [repeat continuously]," thrashing and kicking, hitting in its general direction, and putting every six-year-old girl who ever claimed she had a hissy fit to shame. In the meantime, Jonathan had been screaming back to me, "WHAT? WHAT IS IT?" and swerving the car across all lanes of traffic to get to the nearest side street. He screeched to a stop and we both jumped out. Jonathan spotted the beast and smacked it off of my leg and instantly stomped it. With it dead, I was now free to examine my finger and considering that if felt like a hot poker in there, I was not shocked to find it swollen and red around the bite. "It bit me," I whimpered, as I wished my normal life farewell. Obviously this couldn't have been any typical spider that had instant hot venom and a jeans grip of a bear. I would now be forced to wear a mask and fight crime. But I was saved from this fate when Jonathan said, leaning closely over the corpse, “It’s a bee.”

	I love it!! Especially the Bee Wing. Sounds like a roundish car like a VW Beetle, hehe, with stripes and wings. If I use the Bee Sting, will I die soon after? Is there a bee connection to Taming of the Shrew? I wonder which comic books Shakespeare would read.
