Some movies you can barely tolerate watching the first time. Others are classics --ones that you watch over, and over. Others are guilty pleasures, or old friends. So, besides the Star Wars movies, which ones do you find yourself watching over and over?

I'll start with the Princess Bride. I love the humor, the one liners and the quoteable quotes. "As you wish" and "inconceivable". love

From there, I would say The Fifth Element, because I think Chris Rock's character is one of the funniest things ever. Add the Diva and Leelu, and it's pure win. Plus, besides the first Die hard movie, this is Bruce Willis's best role, IMHO.

And then Office Space. Nuff said. wink

Blazing Saddles

I could go on but these are ones I have watched excessively! hypnotized

Man, there are so many movies out there.

For me it would have to be as follows in no particular order:

Back to the Future Trilogy – I have seen these movies many, many times, I have actually watched all three of them recently again. I don’t know what it is about them, they were just really fun.

Clerks and Clerks 2 - What I think are some of the funniest movies of all time. Every time I watch them I find something new.

Jackass and Jackass 2 – Never gets old.

Die Hard – Nothing quite like watching John McClain kick butt over and over again.

Blast From the Past – Such a funny movie. Brendon Frasier is great in it, being a guy that has lived under ground his entire life.

The Fifth Element – There is something so great about that film. The cinematography is amazing in it, and of course the story is awesome too.

The Crow – I have seen this movie, so much. Not recently but I used to watch it once a week when I was a teenager. Brandon Lee left us far to early.

Christmas Vacation – Every holiday season, it is mandatory.

Aliens – One of the best Sci-Fi movies of all time. If you have not seen this movie yet, you are insane. Go see it right now.

The Matrix – Another great Sci-Fi movie. The first time I saw it I was in awe.

Transformers – I have seen this movie probably 7 times. But each time I watch it I still think it is great.

Transformers Animated Movie - I watched this movie all the time when I was a kid, and I have seen it several times as an adult. I still love it.

Fight Club – “I am Jack's smirking revenge.” If you have not seen this movie. Rent it right away.

Princess Bride – Such a great movie, with so many great lines.

Monty Python and the Holy Grail – Do I not know a person who can quote that movie? Mmmm, no I don’t.

Labyrinth – I constantly watched this movie as a kid. I found it quite amazing.

Ghostbusters - Another really fun movie to watch that I have seen many times.

And of course Star Wars

That movie had a most excellent soundtrack. I listened to it on tape in my Walkman all the time as a wee lad.

That's actually not Chris Rock, it's Chris Tucker (from the Rush Hour movies), had it been Chris Rock, this movie wouldn't be nearly as annoying to me, Chris Tucker literally kept me from appreciating the film for years.

As far as the movie I just can't stop watching over and over, i'm pretty sure this will come as a complete and utter surprise to everyone who knows me, and the last movie people would guess...

The American President.

I absolutely love the film, love all the performances, love the characters, the dialogue, the story, the direction.

It's pretty much the only film I can truly say is abolutely flawless in it's execution of being the most perfect film it can be at the film it's trying to be.

Whenever it's on cable, no matter what point in the film it's at, I can't help watching it until the end.

Gotcha. My bad for getting them confused. blush

Him screaming is just too LOL funny.

Clerks and Clerks 2 - What I think are some of the funniest movies of all time. Every time I watch them I find something new.

While I haven't seen clerks 2, the first one is an absolute classic. I saw that on WESTPAC many moons ago, and it was played, and quoted constantly. Thirty seven!!!!

Christmas Vacation – Every holiday season, it is mandatory.

Agreed --mandatory Christmas viewing.

Aliens – One of the best Sci-Fi movies of all time. If you have not seen this movie yet, you are insane. Go see it right now.

Also agreed. I would put it in the top 5 single best Sci fi movies ever.

Monty Python and the Holy Grail – Do I not know a person who can quote that movie? Mmmm, no I don’t.

Also a must see.

Great soundtrack. I can't say I've seen the movie much, but I loved the music.

I also have to add Stripes and Full Metal Jacket. Great boot camp scenes, the both of them. devil

And when I'm on a Bill Murray kick, I'll watch Groundhog Day.

When I'm really in a funk, I'll watch Shaun of the Dead. I love Hot Fuzz, but haven't bought it yet. Once I do, I'll add that to the list of frequently watched movies.

I liked The fifth element because it looked good and had Bruce Willis playing Bruce Willis (thats what we like)except for Chris Tucker (annoying and overdone)
Too many others to mention.
