Edit - Although I am happy the boy was found safe and sound, after putting some research into this story, I firmly believe Mom and Dad engineered the whole thing to serve their scientific purposes. While I am completely in favor of the progress of technology and applaud amateur science, including meteorology, this was very wrong if it was, indeed, a hoax. Personally, I think that the entire incident was staged to avoid an FAA fine, collect data on the ballon and get the best possible video coverage, all in 9NEWS high definition and on such beautiful perfect-for-a-flight day, no less. IMHO if they make any money from this incident on, oh, say, a weather balloon patent, it should be used to reimburse the authorities for their efforts.

	Did anyone watch Oprah yesterday? She had the woman who was attacked by the chimp last February. I can't believe what that animal did to her and she survived! He literally ripped off her face, jaw, eyes nose etc. The face had to reconsturcted and she has no eyes, and they reconfigured a mouth so she can eat. He also mangled her hands so badly, on one arm she had to get it removed to the forearm and the other she only has thumb left. She is hoping to get a face transplant and hand transplants, but they have to be by the same doner. 	I'm told by someone who recently went through the process that it can take 2 years, and even then there are still complications. For instance, she had trouble getting an Arkansas driver's license when she moved there last month, because her birth certificate was African and her passport was expired.
