	We just watched V, unfortunately it doesn't hit Hulu until Saturday after the episode. Interestingly, I hated the miniseries of BSG as a reimagining, but came to love the series. I actually enjoyed this first episode. I thought it had the right mix of jettisoning some things from the orininal and keeping other things. There's no reason not to reveal the lizardness in the first episode, everyone knows about it coming in, this way we have bigger mysteries to hope for, instead of stretching out something everyone is "duh" about. We still have the mystery of what the "element" is, in the original it was water, they were up front here in saying they need that, so it's something else. I like that they kept a strong female lead, but dislike that they changed her from being a doctor/scientist to being an FBI agent. The transition to resistance leader/terrorist seem less interesting or dramatic for her. 	ABC has demoted the showrunner of V, Scott Peters (formerly of 4400). He will still be an Producer and one of the writers. Instead the show will now be in the hands of one of the producers of Chuck. I guess after the first 4 episodes ABC decided it needed more humor or action? It did do huge ratings, biggest new series premiere of the year, ABC's biggest premiere since Private Practice two years ago, but they did have to spend a lot on promotion to make that happen. 	Just saw the pilot. Thought it was decent enough, pretty much what I expected. I have to agree with OW about the reptile secret reveal. Knowing what they were before the start of the show, I was kinda hoping they were going to get that out of the way and move on to bigger mysteries.

	Aurgh! My fracking direct tv connection went out - for the 2nd time in the last 4 days - during the first set of commercials. I wasn't home, so I missed the rest of the show. 	i am sorry T...that stinks. Ok...i liked this episode much better...there wasn't TOO Much...i think that the problem with the first episode there was too much information. i liked that this episode had the right amount of mystery and reveals. I even liked the new reporters portion. now i am glad that they did reveal that the Vs were lizards...now it is sort of like BSG...ok who is a lizard. I think that the alien resistance are going to be more important then they were in the 80s show.
