	We had bad dealings with US bank, so we switched to wells fargo, and they've been good to us. I think it just depends on the phase of the moon, time of day, idiots employed, and the butterflies in china. 	Ok, I called the branch we go to to make sure they had MY info and they had the wrong area code (720 rather than 303) for my number. So we corrected that. Then I went to the branch and spoke with a manager who talked with me about the possible thought processes (like the OverDraft department not looking that she's my Beneficiary, etc). I'm now on hold with a manger at the 800 customer service line and she's calling the OD department to see what happened because the beneficiary on the account is NEVER to know anything about the account until I kick the bucket. I've also spoken with my mother and they called her on her cell phone, told her that HER account was over drawn, that she was the ONLY name on the personal account. She thought someone had stolen her identity! Then they started going line by line over the charges until she realized that she doesn't go to S*Bux for tasty frosty beverages, and that it must be my account. So I'm definitely escalating this as high as I can take it until I'm satisfied. And believe me, I have access to a nice financial lawyer (through my Mom's business, but still) and I will use him if I have to. I don't care what the economy is like, you don't call the beneficiary! I don't care if it's my Mother, Dan, or Ronald Freakin' McDonald! YOU DON'T DO IT! Edit: I've received the equivalent of $175 in fee refunds for all the trouble. 	I'm surprised after trying the 720 # that someone didn't think, "Gee, maybe it's a 303..." Then again, Wells Fargo doesn't pay folks at branches for brains. 	We've had sooo much trouble with Wells Fargo too. But Beth had even worse problems with US Bank- they wouldn't discuss a refinance on the loan because they said her dad's only time frame was during the bankruptcy- which is when the lawyer said it was illegal to talk to them. Anyway, we use first bank, as does Beth, and my husband did before we even met, and so far no problems. My dad used them as well with success. So if you decide to switch, I'd check out first bank.

	Somehow mr. bug has put our portable home phones on 'do not disturb' but however he did it, we can't turn it off. I think he mashed buttons until the light stayed on. Now we are left with our 'in the wall' phone in the kitchen, and the handsets, which were dying a slow death anyway and are at least 3 years old, won't work at all. -----signature----- Am I supposed to feel my eyebrows? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I'm so crafty, I make people.

Try popping the batteries out of the portable phone for a couple minutes. There should also be a place to 'reset' the phone too... 	Some guy is using my cell number in his requests for estimates to move a corvette from Colorado Springs to Texas or someplace. I've already gotten 5 calls about it. I guess I should take this as the final motivation to switch my number since it's not local in Pueblo. It was when I first got it, but somehow it got local to Springs. Josh already switched his, but everyone still has my number and it's come in handy a few times when people are looking for him and don't have his number anymore... Meh. 	I only call myself when I can't find my phone...but I have to remember the number when filling out forms at the doctor's offices and for stuff like that. I'll have to put myself in my own phone book.
