I have another Happy!
After 2 weeks of spending every free moment on the internet trying to find a house in Oahu for the wedding (since the last one cancelled) I finally found one that: 1. I liked 2. Keith liked 3. The rest of the family liked 4. We could afford 5. Had a pool! and 6. Wasn't already booked
It's funny because it is the estate I originally picked out and printed out to show everyone as a joke..."If I win the lottery in the next week we are gonna stay here!" I got so frustrated with everything being booked that I called that place up and told them my story and asked if they could put me on some sort of last minute list so that I could afford it and they dropped the price to my budget so I booked it! 
6 acres, Three house, huge pool, beach - PARADISE!

Nice, Reya! You're going to a beautiful part of Oahu, and will have so much fun!
I'm really missing the islands now... wish I could go back...
...I'm also happy, I got pictures to the bride and groom for a wedding I helped shoot a couple of weeks ago. I shot it with a former classmate, and she and I worked really well together, covering different aspects of the wedding. I have a hunch we're going to shoot more stuff together in the future. It really helps to have her able to cover the bride, while I cover the groom, and then have us work different aspects of the ceremony & reception. Lots of fun --and as we get better, we can start charging some good money for it and paying off all that expensive camera gear...

I am so excited! We are spending a week on Oahu, then a week on Maui, and then a week on Kauai. (Feb. 28th-March 21st) The only bummer is that I have to go to court this month in order to get a judge's order for my kids to go since my ex is refusing to allow me to take them out of 10 days of school. [Even though the school thinks it's a great opportunity for the kiddos]
I took over 900 pictures in 6 days at Disney World so I imagine I need to buy more memory cards...
I am not registered. We don't really need anything. We are however, going to have a big Luau at our house for a sort of "reception" party the first Saturday in June of 2009 and you are all invited. We just want to have a fun!

Your website post said the Hawaii House is 15 minutes from the Polynesian Cultural Center.
We do designs for them!

I don't know Reya, I have designed for a lot of famous places. You better have a fat wallet to go that many places.
You don't have to buy a shirt at the PCC on my account, I'm sure there are plenty of companies selling there. Crazy Shirts is a very popular local company. They are awesome!

well actually we are loosing our conference room space, so everyone is in a tissy about this conference we have coming up. Meeting space is expensive. Sooooo, i got us booked at a hotel for the guest...and the meeting space...FOR free. w00t!
everyone is very impressed and can not believe i have only been here three weeks.
 i just hope they keep me!
